i have the same problem as you with my vpn and i am not even using relakks. my vpn speed will drop down to zero like you said after about 20 minutes or so and it has happened to me many times already. i suspect the dogs at tm*nut are trying to throttle down vpn. i emailed my vpn provider about it and they said it's not a problem with their server and they also suspect our ISP is up to no good!

i was already bypassing tmnut's throttle for a while now before kljs put this "solution" in code. anyone who is smart enough will know how to bypass it and not show off here in this forum for all the tmnut spies to see.

my method is fortunately a whole lot simpler then kljs. it does not involve time and dedication. all i can say is it involves proxies, ssh/vpn which are free. no payment involved. with a little bit of tweaking you can get max speed and you don't have to get a headache like kljs.

yes, you are correct.

here's another tip for you guys who don't want to do any tweaking. try toutou, the chinese BT client which seems to bypass the throttle. it worked for me. i can get 150K+ speed with toutou. special thanks to UNDERGROUND for providing the guide.

unstable is better then nothing, right? if you were getting 0-10K for months now, and you suddenly get 100K+ when you use toutou, you be dancing all night long. LOL! For those who are sick of slow speed, i recommend you try toutou first before you get a headache trying to break kljs code.

try reading in the back pages of this thread before you ask for the link. the link is in this thread, a few pages back from here. search for it yourself.

you got it all wrong. you don't have to use "tunneling" to use touto. you just use it normally like any other bt client. some guys get great speeds with it and some don't. i guess it depends on the torrent and how you set it up. refer to UNDERGROUND's touto guide in the software section to see if you set it up properly.

congratulations! you just told all the tmnut spies here that you are unthrottled. don't worry, they will install the "T" device in your area very soon. after that, lets see if you can still go full blast or not.

vpn is set on your pc. you can't set vpn on your modem even if you wanted to. only you will be able to use the vpn on your pc. your friends will not have access to your vpn.

there is no such thing as the most reliable vpn. everyone here is using relakks because it is the cheapest (i think). there are other vpn services out there besides relakks. but i think they are more expensive.

if your isp is not tmnut, then why do you have a tmnut banner as your signature? please tell us what isp you are using.

yes that is the same reply everyone got from tmnut. if you want a different answer, you will have to call them and yell at them or threaten to sue them, then they will tell you the true story of the p2p throttling.
