Its been my third times playing the event, and I'm still a little bit confused with the gameplay.

So I have about 7000 ability points (AP). I got to choose one of three types of ability for Year Beast. But then, everyone else in my team get to choose one too. So what is the outcome of mixed selection? or if everyone choose Speed, will the Year Beast ending up with more agi points?

Then there's the timer for when you can begin upgrade your Year Beast to level 2, provided of course you have enough AP for that. At second spawn, it costs 5000AP. No problemo.

But it says the AP will refill at every respawn, yet my AP is left with minus 5000AP. So I figure upgrading Year Beast is permanent.

Lastly, I know using its normal skills like teleport, heal, attack and double damage uses renewable AP, but are the ulti skills deducting our AP permanently at 1000AP per skill used?

This is where I understood wrongly. I assumed that Brawl means everytime YB spawns. So apparently it means the Brawl is the entire event match itself.

Wow it looks like the servers have really gone to the dogs during this event. I guess it's a good thing that I've not had the time to play this last few days!
