I am hotlink user but this is my 2nd no.. keep on topup only now credit more than 100 already.. any way to extend validity like celcom pay RM30 and get 1 year airtime

If u upgraded to new free basic internet plan or bought a new sim card then u r 100% not qualified to subscribe to 365 validity...

my trick to extend validity without topping up - buy 1 month data and ur expiry date will extend until 1 day before your data expiry =D
but i always finish the data before expiry and buy new 1 month data again so i dunno if the trick works if u dun finish the quota

Does anyone trying to port out from Hotlink recently?
Mine was rejected 3 times already
They said due to system failure

sometime telco A have "mnp war" with telco B.
Either report to MCMC or mnp to another telco.

Make a complaint at CFM and SKMM. You have to take the initiative know how/what to proceed using that forum/commission. First step is to make a formal complaint to Maxis.

too bad i already signed the contract from digi with new number due to the port out failure

the digi staff also told me the same
sometimes it's not the 'system failure', but they don't want to let the customer go
they said this month 200++ customer from maxis complaining that they can't port out to digi

I don't like Hotlink because it doesn't publish its rates or make it easy for people to find it on the website.

The old hotlink talk plan charges RM1.20/min for calling a fixed line in another state (say calling Perak fixed line from mobile in Selangor). Thats 7-10x more expensive than normal rates. Calling fixed line in the same state is 50sen/min. Mobile calls are 49sen/min. SMS cost 20sen. Maxis doesn't publish its rates for Hotlink Talk/Basic/5/10/etc because they are very expensive and it wants people to transfer to the new #hotlink plan. Even the rates for #hotlink is not on its website.

I'd rather use Digi/Celcom prepaid since the rates are advertised upfront and easy to find.
The best prepaid plan without roaming is Frendi/Tron for zero cost long life plan/ only RM10(Tron) per year and reasonably cheap call/sms charges.
