If you don't mind 3rd-party lens with TTL-capability, can go for the new Nissin i40.Bought mine in SG for S$223 when it was launched earlier this month.
Can google for the review of this flash in the net.

QUOTE(Xiia0Ban @ Dec 28 2014, 11:52 PM) How's the TTL? Is it consistent since some of the 3rd party flash with TTL has inconsistent flash output in the same environment. So far so good.Works like a charm on easy indoor shoot like birthday party. It's quite worth it as the package comes with flash diffuser, so no need to spend on Stofen, etc. As the other flash unit that I have is the small stock flash that comes together with XT-1, hard for me to say as I don't have Fuji's other TTL-flash like the EF-42, EF-X20, etc. to compare against the Nissin. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 20 2015, 11:27 AM) For cleaning, I heard Hoya HD is better but I always buy XS-Pro if no stock only opt for Hoya HD. It's the other way around. So long it is thin and clear, I'm fine. The Hoya HD that I had was more difficult to clean compared to B+W. All my XF and Touit lenses have XS-Pro Nano UV filters fitted since day 1. |

QUOTE(kianwee @ Feb 1 2015, 06:15 PM) Guys, was thinking to get additional battery NP-W126. You guys usually go for original which costs a bomb or 3rd party? I have 3 original batteries, just to be on the safe side.1 bought extra from the retailer when I bought the X-T1 and another from Amazon US when it was selling for around US$40 |

QUOTE(hjh87 @ Feb 2 2015, 11:09 PM) Based on the link, I won't say it have huge different. But surely APD is more sharp than the non APD. I've tested the 16-55 2.8, paired with XT-1 body and the lens is huge and heavy, with 77mm filter size to boot.By the way, I thought the 16-55mm is almost same size with 18-55mm? Just asking, izit worth investing for the fujifilm prime lens? What I meant was, those prime is for aps-c type sensor and not really ff type. The price is like same with those Nikon or canon of prime lens. Hope you guy can share some insight. Thanks. I don't know where you get the idea that it is the same size as 18-55. After testing the lens at Fujifilm SG, I decided against getting it due to these reasons: Price, weight, size, no IS, filter size, lens extend when zooming (unlike the 50-140 2.8). As I already have Zeiss 12, 32 and XF56, I think I'd wait for the new 16 1.4 or 23. To me, the 50-140 is much better value ompared to the 16-55 |

QUOTE(hjh87 @ Feb 3 2015, 10:20 AM) I haven tested it, that why I'm just asumming it almost same size as 18-55mm. Wow, Zeiss Touit? How much is that? Any picture to compare with Fuji prime lens? No need to test the lens, if you see the photos and read the specs online, you will know that the lens is a giant, compared to the current Fuji lenses, except the 50-140 which is the largest and heaviest. I bought the Touit 12 and 32 online from B&H when Zeiss USA was having the promotion for US$1k for both lenses. I even sold my few months old 10-24 after I bought the Touit. As for sample comparison photos, there are some at the regular websites that our members here have recommended. |

QUOTE(bcteh @ Feb 3 2015, 10:55 AM) How is 10-24mm image quality compare to Touit. You prefer Touit because of the size? Mind to share .... Instead of why I prefer the Touit, lets just say I sold the 10-24 because of no aperture ring on the barrel (even though it is constant f4, so dunno what the Fuji designer is thinking), slower aperture (4 vs 2.8), size and filter size (72mm), weight and price. The Zeiss offer @US$1k for the 12 and 32 was too hard to resist. If there was no offer, I would have stick to 10-24 |

QUOTE(kernel123 @ Feb 3 2015, 01:17 PM) so big... i think the lens suits better for potrait photographer the lens kinda negate the purpose of using mirrorless cam : being light and portable im curious how does it compares to other mirrorless 24-70 equivalent lens : samsung 16-50,olympus 12-40mm, (in term of size) Their filter sizes are only 62 and 58mm respectively, and their barrel diameters also not that much bigger. Definitely can't beat the law of physics as the m4/3 format can take advantage of the small glass |

QUOTE(Barricade @ Feb 11 2015, 11:17 AM) One more thing i always wanted to ask. XF means premium lens? 35mm not consider XF lens right? Cause i can't see the XF word on the lens but there's XF on the box. I'm confused XF is supposed to be their premium lens, with XC being the budget lens. But so far they only have 2 XC lenses. My XC50-230 lens comes with plastic mount, whereas I believed XF lenses have metal mount. XC lenses are also Made in China, while some XF lenses are Made in Japan, and some MIC. However, of all the XF lenses, only the 16-50 f2.8 and 50-140 f2.8 have the red badge on it |

QUOTE(Xiia0Ban @ Mar 4 2015, 02:48 PM) Thought of getting Billingham also. Thinking which size I should go for as I don't want my bag to be too bulky if I bring it out everyday. Will go to the shop and try out when I'm back to Malaysia since Australia doesn't have any Billingham retailer. Having owned a Hadley Pro before and currently own the Small, normally you choose either of these two if you remain "mirrorless" user The Hadley Pro can also acts as everyday messenger bag if you remove the padding inside. Brad Pitt was photographed carrying one on his shoulder few years ago. The Pro can fit in a MBP 13" comfortably, but will be bulging a lot if you also carry your X-TI and lenses together with your MBP. The Small can fit the iPad mini nicely, with your X-T1 and 2-3 small lenses. Bear in mind that the Billingham Hadley series are on the slimmer side, so if you need a deeper bag, can go for their other series, like F-stop, which are much heavier even when empty |

QUOTE(SkyD @ Mar 30 2015, 01:56 PM) then i should consider XC 50-230mm OIS If you will be using the zoom indoor, get the 55-200 (or better still, the 50-140 now thinking which 1 to go for... Fujifilm XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS or Fujifilm XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS Lens f3.5-4.8 or f4.5-6.7 I have the 50-230 with X-T1, and shooting indoor, eg. inside a hall for children choir, etc can be a PITA. Need to bump up the ISO to the max. OIS can't really help much |

QUOTE(bimmer @ Apr 17 2015, 12:55 AM) Hi guys, Used to own the 27, and it is a good lens.I'm looking for used 27mm or 35mm. Anyone here selling soon? I checked the Garage Sales but doesn't seem like theres a lot. Wonder why? Not popular? Small and compact, with sharp optic wide open, but the no aperture ring on the lens barrel can be a bummer, unless you just migrated to Fuji and have no problem to dive into the menu to change the aperture. |
