Yeah I am using Mac but I don't write the card from my Mac. I just copy the pictures that I want and eject it. Even after I format the card in my camera, it still happens sometimes. hmm.gif
Sandisk Extreme 16GB & Sandisk Extreme 64GB

If it is convenient for you, then straight send it to Glenmarie SC. Like for my case, it is not convenient for me... So, I will be sending it to Menara Axis and they will help me to send it there.
*
thanks.
just now i called Menara Axis, the staff told me that they don't hv technician there.
so they only can help me to send over to Glenmarie SC.
if need to explain more about the problem then is better to send over to Glenmarie SC.

just came back from Fujifilm Glenmarie SC.
they already know the problem & will replace the new version of main board.

as what the technician told me,
this problem only happen to 1st & 2nd batch of BLACK X-T1.
3rd batch of BLACK X-T1 that using the same main board as GRAPHITE SILVER X-T1 so far no issue.

so those 1st & 2nd batch of BLACK X-T1 pls take note !!!

sorry i forgot to ask how they identify with serial no.

i try to categorize in this way but not 100% accurate.

1st batch got light leak issue.
2nd batch solve light leak issue & the back button fix.
3nd batch with the same production period with Graphite Silver.

it takes 2 weeks to ship the part from japan. doh.gif

I'm not a tele person, just want to keep one if I need it.
Recently found it necessary during the hot air balloon festival.

Nevertheless, when I was with Canon system, I had few 70-200L lenses and all of them were kept in cold storage. laugh.gif

So, I don't want to repeat the history again. laugh.gif
Not really because of the costs, I hardly use tele lens. Don't want to spend unnecessarily. laugh.gif
*
but OIS is useful when u zoom > 100mm whistling.gif

Er, am I missing anything here? I thought 50-230mm has OIS too? unsure.gif
Yeah, honestly speaking the 55-200mm is less than RM 2k and it is cheaper than those white L lenses I spent in Canon system but cannot justify my purchase yet. laugh.gif
*
then i should consider XC 50-230mm OIS doh.gif
now thinking which 1 to go for...

Fujifilm XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS
or
Fujifilm XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS Lens
unsure.gif

f3.5-4.8 or f4.5-6.7 hmm.gif

Got my lens yesterday's evening. Fast and efficient from HK.

Yet to try and tomorrow will send in to Menara Axis to be dispatched to Glenmarie SC for fixing and tweaking. laugh.gif

mind to share what type fixing and tweaking that going to be done ??? unsure.gif

QUOTE(widget @ Mar 31 2015, 11:02 AM)
If you will be using the zoom indoor, get the 55-200 (or better still, the 50-140  tongue.gif ).
I have the 50-230 with X-T1, and shooting indoor, eg. inside a hall for children choir, etc can be a PITA.
Need to bump up the ISO to the max. OIS can't really help much
*
50-140 too huge for a mirrorless system...
i think i will go for 55-200 but not so soon...

I can only follow up with Menara Axis on next week... sad.gif

How about you? What is your issue with the camera?
*
my X-T1 problem is the aperture F/0 cause by the mainboard.
cannot detect all lens, newly designed mainboard need to ship from Japan. whistling.gif
already 2 weeks, the SHIP not yet arrive Malaysia. doh.gif
i shipping TaoBao items from China to Malaysia only take 4 days.
don't know what type of SHIP that Fujifilm use, which tk 2 weeks & still not yet arrive. shakehead.gif

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 15 2015, 11:41 AM)
Disappointed with the service at Menara Axis. Due to transportation and job commitment reason, I cannot personally send in my camera to the SC in Glenmarie.

So, I brought it to Menara Axis since it is a camera collection centre.

I sent in on 3rd April around lunch hour and I called to follow up with Glenmarie SC yesterday. Guess what, they only received my camera on Monday (13 April)! That's a 10-day gap in between or 5 working days in between. mad.gif

The technician that fixes X-T1 is currently on leave and will be back to work only tomorrow... Only by then, he will check on my camera and fix it accordingly. I voiced out my concern and urgency regarding this as I will be travelling again end of this month.

In fact, I will be going to USS this Sunday but without any camera. Sigh.

i just collect my X-T1 from Fujifilm Glenmarie SC yesterday...
i will share my experience later... doh.gif
