Shaw in contention to face Spurs. Come on Luke, we missed your presence in defence.

Him and Rafael will probably start at the bench, maybe get some minutes as subs to relieve Young and Valencia, then once their fitness improves and assuming they stay injury-free, they'll start.

Doubt he will rush them both back, since they've had a very stop-start season due to injuries.

Oh yeah Rafael too, saw pictures of him training.

I don't know why but I prefer Tony V in the wingback position rather than Rafael rclxub.gif

Last time, we were accused of buying the FA, referee la, Sepp Blatter etc.

Now we bought mods and LYN? Ahahaha.

Jokes aside, Rafael is obviously better than Valencia at defending because he's a defender. Don't need a genius to tell you that. But at wing back position, you need a balanced player to fit that role. Rafael has time on his side, just need to be more level headed and composed to assume full responsibility as a right back or a wing back. Everytime when Rafael gets booked, I always worry of what might happen next lol.

Harry Kane is performing well this season. Good to see another upcoming English lad laugh.gif Really put shame to those 'foreign' and expensive forwards in the Spurs squad ahaha

Typical Rafael performance, sums up my earlier doubts about him.

After so many seasons, still the same old clumsy and reckless defender.

Wrong game to play rafael back after a long lay off, he really look off the pace the whole match, should have kept valencia on the game, the whole team look fatigue and lazy in the second half

Tony V picked up a knock

How is Rafael good? He is a ticking time-bomb that has a preference for cards. Attacking wise, pretty decent, able to deliver crosses but as a defender, I'm sorry to say this but he's been too complacent at the club for far too long. He had his season to shine a couple of seasons ago, but til today not much improvement from someone who came to the club with bags of potential with him.

Picture this, comes in the second half, less than 10 mins later, gets himself booked. Couple of moment later, trips the opponent with a clumsy challenge. If there is one position that I would like the gaffer to fix, it will be to get a DECENT rightback.

But of course, priority goes to CB. Too many changes at the back, really have to give credits to DDG because its never easy to play with different defenders every game.

Should've really taken advantage between these two weeks where our rivals actually dropped points, we would be in a better position in the league right now.

The transfer window is now open, time for some reinforcements biggrin.gif

Comparing Rooney with Scholes is like comparing Lampard and Drogba.

Hargreaves even not a bit part player in the two season he won the Champions League.

Yup but most importantly he played in the final, and his performance against Chelsea was really good. Been a fan of him since his Munich days, pity his knees were problematic.
