Just heard the devastating news that our brother roti-terbakar has passed away earlier last month.
It was only a couple of months ago that we met in person, young and lively chap he was. Will definitely miss our banters, bashing and trash talking together. Here's to you Saiful, gone but never forgotten. May you find eternal peace. This post has been edited by andrewtho: Feb 1 2015, 09:30 PM |

Well to be fair to Zaha, I think he lacked proper guidance from the manager. He was signed by SAF, but who would've thought that SAF announced his retirement before Zaha joined the club, leaving him to Moyes.
I see a raw talent in Wilfred, but he does not put enough effort to maximize his potential when given the chance to. Seen him play a few games, not at all convincing, reminded me of Nani when he first joined the club. Good to see Zaha moving to another club, maybe more first team football will be good for his development, otherwise he'll be another Scott Sinclair. Bags of potential but lacked first team development. |

England future is bright.
Wilson-Kane leading the forward line. Heck even Charlie Austin and Danny Ings deserved to be called up for the senior squad. |

QUOTE(educationseeker @ Feb 5 2015, 12:13 AM) http://www.espnfc.com/spanish-primera-divi...tch-fixing-case This one slowpoke by how many months wei This could be the reason why LVG didnt play herrera that often.maybe he is giving him time off to prepare for court case or he know this issue will affect herrera performance. QUOTE(sinoffire @ Feb 6 2015, 11:40 AM) dun care that club lar..... i dun see them as a threat no more. Not since Gary retired, no. Rafael has been in and out. It's funny how our managers never seem to find a PROPER RB replacement for GNev after he retired, that position not important meh? was suprised that griezman joined At. Madrid without involving in a bidding war. knew about him few years ago. veli underrated but oso veli easily get injured. free take oni lar...... samo all our right backs like shit. oh wai- do we even have proper right back? |

Coleman, later Everton play hardball again.
Kyle Walker, Nathaniel Clyne, Seamus Coleman, Danillo, Dani Alves or Carvajal (as if). Pick one. HUEHEUHUE. Personally pick Clyne or Walker. I like English full-backs |

Rooney very ineffective at CM.
Mata would've been a better option with Herrera behind him. Poor performance from the midfield today. Weak. |

QUOTE(sunblaze @ Feb 9 2015, 09:32 AM) Didn't bother seeing the game, cos it's 4am for me on a Monday I think we've been debating about Rooney for many seasons already,he doesn't have the vision nor ball control to operate as a CM. But to be fair, the rest of the midfield played poorly too, especially that overrated Belgian fella and Di Maria. Anyway, looking at the comments here...seems I didn't miss much. Said more than once Rooney is a shit CM, cannot brain it when people try and compare him to Scholes just because he can ping a few Hollywood diagonal balls now and then. He might be able to time runs into the box to score every now and then, but a CM is about more than that. Might as well put a pig in CM and say it can pass like Scholes =_= Either play him as a #9 or # 10 or drop him. Time to shake up the midfield in the summer QUOTE(sinoffire @ Feb 9 2015, 11:25 AM) nope. simply becos he has proven himself to be prolific goal scorer in 3 different leagues before joining a pariah team like this. if the previous 3 leagues he can shine but we can't make him score as much goals as he has done prevously, tactic/manager problem liao. Honestly, I'd blame Falcao too. He missed a sitter yesterday. |

QUOTE(alien2003 @ Feb 10 2015, 11:13 AM) http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11...-louis-van-gaal Van Persie is a target man, Falcao is somewhat a target man as well, he doesn't make alot of long runs. A target man + a runner will always be a better combination, hence Rooney-RVP partnership worked wonders a few years ago. Ever since Rooney is shifted to CAM/CF/CM, he isn't the same goal poacher as before. Personally, I don't think our partnership of RVP + Falcao is working at all and we are sacrificing Rooney just to fit both into the team. Not sure if Van Gaal realize that Rooney has NO vision nor he can hold up the ball. He is poor with his distribution, giving away possession and wayward passes. We need a CM with vision, create space for himself and can hold the ball. So far Herrera and Mata combo is my favorite, sadly being overlooked before of the gaffer's 'philosophy'. If VG mentioned that Herrera tends to leave space behind, it's the CDM's role to act as the 5th man at the back. What we lack is a midfield anchor, someone who holds the ball and distributes it. Our players gives possession away too easily. |

Well, I like LVG's PC to be honest. Interesting and direct. For now we should give him time to create his 'philosophy'.
If we continue to play like how we played against West Ham, really can kiss Top 3 goodbye. |
