Is there any hair shampoo that is without Sodium Laureth Sulphate / Sodium Lauryl Sulphate / Sodium Lauryl / Laureth Sulfates? According to this guy, this chemicals actually make our hair and scalp dry by absorbing the oils naturally created by our scalp or hair. hmm.gif

His hair looks really nice, looking to achieve something like that. So I'm planning to get a hair shampoo without Sodium Laureth Sulphate / Sodium Lauryl Sulphate / Sodium Lauryl / Laureth Sulfates. Any recommendations?

Almost all shampoo has it. Even soap, toothpaste has it. Can't escape these harmful products.

What he/she said.

I'm using himalaya herbal anti dandruff shampoo. No SLS/SLES but has ammonium lauryl sulfate

U probably have to buy online from overseas retailers if u want totally free of these surfactants

If you're still looking for a non sulfate shampoo that's easy to find and cheap, take a look at this Sebamed Everyday shampoo, available @ Watsons/Guardian

Hi ,

I am in my late 30s and started to experience some hair loss back few years ago.
My scalp is always oily and I have to wash my hair daily.

2 years back I started to use this Black Rice Extract Shampoo, to prevent hair loss.

It works for me, now my hair loss problem is gone.

The brand is " Nakornthong Hom Nim Rice Shampoo". Not easy to find as it always out of stocks.

I sincerely recommend this shampoo and I think you should give it a try.

It works for me.
One small problem is that it is not easy to buy, as it is always out of stock.

But if you want to buy, you can email me at plseet@yahoo.com, I can get it for you.
Retail at RM59.90 a bottle.

A small price for a premium shampoo that will promote hair growth.

Try it, it may solve you problem once and for all.

Thanks.

He said trim your hair whenever necessary to promote hair growth, not wait until it grow longer.

Personally I like Himalaya hairshampoo, one of those natural hair shampoo without SLS.

"Sulfates are responsible for the actual cleansing action. Sulfate-free shampoos will therefore not have that level of cleansing and this could lead to resultant dandruff and other associated problems. Thus, a small amount of sulfate is important. This way, the damage is minimised and cleansing is maintained"

I guess in the end it depends on what is your objective, to clean your hair or to have vibrant look?

Not necessarily. There are ways to clean your hair without SLS. People in the west are going towards SLS free products from toothpaste, soaps shampoos.

People in the west are using more natural soap base and I must say, it feels nicer than your store bought dettol, lifebuoy. Lux. Even in malaysia we have out very own green bar soap without SLS. Is very cheap too.

Now I remember the name. 999 chlorophyll soap.
