I hope mine wont be that long huhu, very difficult to take care of the hygience, got swollen gum sometimes.I did mine last year March for RM 5800 in private clinic, including everything. |

Hi anyone tried ceramic/ transparent braces and think they are durable? I heard they don't last? and is Damon the best type out there? Less pain & time wearing etc?

Damon is a brand of self ligating braces?
If there is elastic tie/rubber means is not self ligation braces right? This post has been edited by ljf123: Mar 9 2017, 01:23 PM |

Damon isn't suitable for all cases and it does cost abit more than regular braces. If there is elastic tie/rubber means is not self ligation braces right? |

Less pain & time wearing etc? Only real difference between conventional braces and those ceramic/transparent are for aesthetic purposes. Damon is a self ligating system where it doesn't require elastics and it is not suitable for every case |

Have been wearing braces since Nov 2014.
Haven't been paying for adjustment for nearly a year now. Dentist reckoned it might take 1 year and a half at start, well. Overall RM6000, clinic in Kajang. |
