Found this statement from Kopitiam, not sure how true it was, can someone elaborate more?

Why Mugabe and his cronies likes inflation and printing of more notes?

Some suggestions:

-Goreng stock market up. Notice that when QE is introduced, currency value drops but stock indices always shoot up the opposite?

-More loans to give out results in more property sales since loan approvals eases.

-Cheaper wages and pay less to local employees

These are some of the advantages of "inflation"

Inflation is good for cronies.

Deflation is good for consumers and rakyat jelata.

I'm sure 99% of happy citizens > 1% God "Chosen" citizens.

Deflation then makcik selling goreng pisang how? Female estate agent how?

Deflation only good for gomen servant as their salary is pretty much stagnant.

So 99% happy citizen is gomen servant that get 1 month to rm500 bonus a year? I guess not.

Private sector chinaman company see deflation . Sales drop. Salesman commission going lesser and lesser. How to be happy and come to lowyat blow water?

Unless you are gomen servant that dont invest and pakai gaji bersih. Then good luck.

You want yearly increment.

Hawker also want yearly increment.

Every one also want yearly increment.

Thats where the few % inflation came from.

Deflation is only good for gomen servant.

if you work in private, deflation will likely caused you your year end bonus, increment, or even your job.
