My quick review of the Yokohama Bluearth AE01:
- Really comfortable tires, even more comfort/softer than the C Drive 2 despite pumping about additional 2 psi more (35front 33 rear) to further take advantage of the lower rolling resistance.

- even quieter than the c drive 2! can barely hear anything from the wheels unless road conditions are totally horrible (potholes/unpaved roads etc)
Cabin/wind noise are more apparent compared to current tire noise.

- Very low rolling resistance as per advertised: Merely putting in D is more than enough to creep through most traffic jams with any throttle input required and that alone is a guaranteed fuel save.
If you're not in a jam, this tire has no issue cruising without throttle input once you bring it up to optimal cruising speed. Say 80kph? It will maintain that speed even without any throttle input for at least 5-10 seconds or even more depending on road conditions/gradient.

- It's as if the tires are pillows and your car is riding on it.

- Very light weight tire, can be practically lifted with a finger for 195/60/15 size.
The tires are also VERY soft and if you press it you can almost deform the tire entirely

- What i don't like is the steering response, any steering input will have some sort of delay. Perhaps i am too spoiled with the AD08R with laser precision steering input/response and comparatively between AE01 vs AD08R, it's like an exact polar opposite.

- Tire flexing is also very apparent when you do very hard braking/cornering. Definitely have to take it easy with this tire.

- wet performance are decent, handles quite firmly over mrr2 water puddle at 100-120kph.
slightly more unnerving compared to c drive 2 despite being almost worn down, would advise caution as you wear the tire further.

*summary*
pros:
- low NVH, comfortable
- low rolling resistance
- non directional/asymmetric = ease of rotation.

cons:
- overall performance be it dry/wet
- bad steering response
- lots of tire flex
- pricing may be on the higher side compared to better performance tires, or even same LRR/eco category tires.
main competitor should be against the bridgestone ecopia ep200 and michelin XM2 as these 2 brands tend to price their products at a premium as well.
