i got problem with my 2.5 year old proton saga

when the engine started, it always got "click clock click clock" sound near the engine. i send the car to service and change part using warranty twice also cannot fix it...

1st time they say the tension bearing need to change, but problem not solved.... 2 time they say water pump need to change, but problem still there...

they do not charge me a single cent because of warranty, but the thing is it is wasting a lot of my time to go to service center, and each time i have to wait 4-5 weeks for the part to arrive.

anyone have this "click clock click clock" sound from their proton saga that can share the learning?

Not sifu, I just go inside make traffic jam saja...then kena horn...Kakakaka our saga can easily make more than 90whp...I think if with aftermarket management rasa rasa boleh dapat 100whp...sebab me and another owner here already 95whp range..another friend 97...100whp is possible...

Hi guys, 2014 saga SV CVT owner here. Want to ask, lately I heard clicking sound something like there's a piece of paper stuck at the tyre on the right hand side. What is the problem actually? is it dangerous? lets say it needs replacement does it cover the warranty or I need to pay for parts and labour costs? My car already reached 15K so good timing to go to SC.

This is typical electronic problem. Plug in the key, step on the brake(do not release until the car starts), turn key to ACC(2 tick from OFF, 1 tick before kick start) wait for few seconds, move gear lever from P to D, from D back to P, then crank start. Few of my company FL got this problem when reverse parking forgot to put back P then off engine

When engine got cranking sound, meaning NOT starter problem. Its probably fuel cut off. I try to imitate the sound, you see whether you hear what I hear:

Wuekekeke vroom = start normally
Wuekekekekekekekekeke = no fuel supply
Wuekekekekekekekkekek.... kekeke(faster).... kekekekek(slower) = petrol over flow
Weeeeeeeeeeeeee = Timing belt putus(engine already gone, so as your wallet)
Tik tak tik tak = Starter relay sound, normally starter KO
Wuek... Bin Bin Bin Bin(car horn alarm) = Bateri weak
...............................(no sound no light no nothing) = Bateri kong, you probably left the headlamp on overnight

You can even start a car without engine oil Keep cranking lar tomorrow, good things will happen. Try not to step on the gas pedal yo. Remember to fiddle with the gear lever. Or you can wait until Plotong iDunCare cum and do the same thing for you geh. As long not timing belt putus, you're safe to crank until the bateri drain
