according to your link...there's two pieces of clear blue plastic on the central head camera biggrin.gif
anyway there is a clear blue plastic on the runner pics in dalong.net. Confirms it.

not sure if we saw those around...
anyway I have a question on Strike Rogue + IWSP...is there a spot on the model to put the 1/144 normal stand? The black standard stand I mean...if yes, I might get another model just for the fun of it biggrin.gif

But all in all, the strike rouge + IWSP is still a handsome catch, especially when u have the original HG strike gundam to use the IWSP... thumbup.gif (just hate the pink sweat.gif)
*
means I have to get the special stand ady...
I don't like HG Strike Gundam...quality too low. MG or at least 1/100 better biggrin.gif
but I just took a good look at the Strike Rogue + IWSP, and I'm thinking of getting it out of boredom tongue.gif

err...you made that thing? sweat.gif
I notice the pic of Strike Freedom says ZGMF-X20A-EX...extended model? unsure.gif
the pic does show a slight modification to the ZGMF-X20A

anyone has the idea of DIY a stand for gundams ?
think of DIY a stand .. for either MG or HG ..
time machine is selling for rm 30 per stand ^^
*
the cost and sweat of making your own stand might be about that price too...buying all the required tools. But you can custom your stand if you DIY. Make it as fancy as possible biggrin.gif

QUOTE(GrandElf @ Oct 30 2006, 01:45 PM)
hey...got something to ask u all.....u all buy gundam lik so easy 1...ur parents will not scold u all 1 ar??well as for me, i buy 1 gundam also need to secretly buy it...n if my parents know they will scold me lik hell.......so now i always told my parents tat the gundam tat i bought is a present from my gf or my other friend.... rclxub.gif
haihz...need to buy own liking also need to so secretly...so poor lar me..... cry.gif
*
I can also see that my parents do not really like me wasting my time and money (a lot of it!) on these models. But I do contribute for the family a little...paying some bills. And I think because of that, my dad's keeping quiet on the models. I don't really spend money either...clothes, car modifications, computer, etc smile.gif

you should control yourself if your parents don't like you buying these stuffs. Its never too late to get a model. You can still find Gundam Wing models now biggrin.gif

Topcoat=water based/safer for ur paints and decals
Super clear=laquer based/might melt acrylic paints and decals

Correct me if i am wrong
*
topcoat is to add a layer of protection on the model rite? super clear...same thing? unsure.gif

grandelf: its normal la...someone even posted that pic before. With this clearer pic...I'm loving the leg design of Stargazer more than ever tongue.gif

Guys- im a newbie in model kits. just completed god gundam and zega pain. am wondering how do they make their models look so shiny? use top coat or super clear?
*
I believe its top coat...but there are 3 types of top coat: Flat, Gloss and Semi-Gloss. I have a pic which shows the results of all 3 top coats, for your choice...at home. Will upload later tonigt tongue.gif

Can anyone tell me what super clear does already?
