QUOTE(cKm83 @ Jan 3 2007, 09:53 PM) would it be better to put on the decals before applying top coat or top coat before the decals? if the surface is smooth or unpainted, then apply decal first and then topcoatif surface is rough, apply gloss topcoat, then decal, then another layer of topoat |

QUOTE(cKm83 @ Jan 3 2007, 10:50 PM) Hi Asuk, thanks for the fast reply. In the case of my current MGSF, i have painted the kit and its a smooth surface. So is it safe to say i can apply the decal and spray topcoat after that? yes, that is correct. looking forward to the finished article. i suggest making more dynamic poses. refer to mags or modellers sites for inspiration and fiddle with your camera more |

why dont someone list down the names of shops and their locations on the first post of this thread?
and list down the Q&A of all the most frequently asked questions as well. i'm really getting tired of seeing the same questions and answers clogging this thread. |

QUOTE(300078 @ Jan 10 2007, 07:22 AM) The distributor here does not care to "push" this particular hobby in this country, all they want is $$$$!!! u wont get to see younger generation play this stuff, and maybe later there wont be thx to them! lol, thats a bit harsh. to their credit, they do actually promote gunpla with the BAKUC, seed competitions. they even have junior category for those. while i do agree their stuff is overpriced, but business is business mah... |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Jan 28 2007, 07:49 PM) p/s: also a quick question to you guys? does astray flies? as mentioned before, i don't really watch the movie, so i have no idea. i'm buying a stand fo my Mk-ii titan, so thinking whether i would also need it for the astray. from the mangas, the astrays spend most of the time in space. is dat considered flying? red frame is better for samurai-style poses, so a stand is not neccessary. maybe stand is better for blue frame 2nd L, coz of the heavy sword/backpack |
