i tested once for a studiowork, it works fine without removing the paint. YN nikon mount flash. (not sure with canon version of YN)

the paint used by sony are conductive (go test it with a multimeter)...

*edit (addon): read the comment section of the youtube, many ppl said their flash works without need to remove the paint

sony releases new lenses. 28mm F2 for the latest prime lens?
Also why is sony coming out another 16mm Fisheye converter?

Scourdx

28mm F2 FE lens. 'fullframe e mount'

the new(ly announced) fisheye and ultrawide (converter)adapter is for the FE28F2.

nothing to do with the old SEL16mm or the VCL-ECF1(fisheye adapter)

albert, leinnz, i tot that just a rebadge of the silver to black? (like the 18200black, and limited 1855 black for nex7) which will look ugly on the silver 16mm, but look good on the black 20mm... i highly doubt there is any improvement over it. sweat.gif sweat.gif

btw did u know the fisheye and wideangle adapter can be used on the sel1855 and sel55210? i dunno why sony had the same adapter clip infront of the two lens as the 16mm. i suspect the 20mm are the same too (but i didnt get to test it yet)
