Strobe flash(in softbox) vs continuous light (4 bulbs in a softbox)..what is the cons and pro..i heard the bulb holder for continuous light tend to burn easier and lighting power not as high as strobe kit..but for normal indoor portrait and baby shooting.. Which one is more suitable..need some opinion here..

anyone aware that HVL-F42AM got fully manual flash mode which only be trigger when you press certain key combination? accidentally bump into it when i am looking for wireless flash trigger in ebay. I am not able to trigger it using my wireless flash trigger if i didnt set it into full manual mode. This flash trigger is one of the super cheap universal trigger that only work in manual mode.

Give a try here:
- mount flash onto camera and set to M mode on camera
- press HSS on flash for 3 sec
- set power to 1/2
- press HSS again.
- now it is in manual mode. you can detach it and put on wireless flash trigger for testing.
This "manual mode" will reset once you off the flash..
