QUOTE(mtxx @ Jan 7 2015, 10:55 PM) I read this in google+ community That's what most users have been doing...I'm not so rom flasher addict so I dun plan to try it. But very curious to see whether it works. This guys claims that he swith roms without losing his data. Instead of doing factory reset inside twrp before flashing rom, he use his own shortcut way. Factory reset wipes System, data (excluding internal storage), cache and dalvic cache. This guy only wipe System, cache and dalvic. Since data parties not wiped, all apps will be kept So after flash new rom to system partition. He can just reboot. New rom with all apps from old rom. No need waste time to titanium backup restore. This guy claim no problem at all and didn't encounter any issues. So this is half dirty flash, or half clean flash. Depending on how optimistic u are. Interested users can try |
