anyway... the DQ game like worms[turn base]????

This DQ game i have been eying for a while now... when i saw ENGLISH version on my friend's NDSL, tha twhen i decided i would love to have a NDSL also.

It is not turn base, rather it is real time, not a bloody though hard game. There is a adventure mode, where you travel in an area... uhmmm... like all RPG there are areas where you need "special" skills to get to, Slimes to saves... 100 of them, each of them you save (some atleast) will give you some special features (ie. help you fight in tank battle, open certain part of town function).

Played it for a while, the hit and catch thing not that troublesome. Acceptable. Have not tried the Tank battle yet.

(off topic) The mysterious dungeon IS turn base... if you ahve played chocobooooo mysterious dungeon back in the old PS then you will understand what i meant. Both are good game.

Back to DQ. LIke pokemon game, there is a huge COllector addict alert here, you can collect monsters... hee hee... Tanks well... it is just a nice little CUTE game you can play. It IS very repetitive, just like Mysterious dungeon, and Monster HUnter (it takes like 40-50hours to finish the elder quest). But for all collectors... GO for it.

Oh also if you are a Slime-natic like me, Must try, Get one of your friend who have to game to let you try la... (but must be careful not to save because there is only ONE save slot... so stupid... don't know why... )

NOPE nothing like that.

Imagine you are a slime, you can stretch... so a. stretch charge and Bang in to enemy and you can catch them on you (can bang in to many other thing also) Ot you can jump then stretch to float.

All in real time.. no you move i move... no tactic style...

it is like legend of zelda, but just a simple version where u can onli stretch ur body to attack.

I can officially say that this game is addictive.
Its simple. Its nice. Its so simple its scary.

In basic gameplay, you take zelda, then you put the slime in it. You move the slime around by hopping around, to kill enemy you stretch the slime to slingshot it around.

There is also mech battle which requires you to get and upgrade the ammo by picking up all the item you can get and chucking it into a train system which will take it back to ur town.

The mech battle is engaging, you run around in your mech picking up ammo which comes out of different chute around the mech and then loading them into the guns. You need to bring their mech hp down to zero and then go over to their mech and kick the mech's central system ass. Thus ending the mech's battle.

finally i finished the game... just can't catch the gem monster... it only appears at cerrtain times and at certain places!

Gem monster is ez. Just charge him. Lol. I capture him a few times only. Didnt bother to go for max number though.

gem monster... very tricky fella... seems to be rather good in tank fight.... nsaty fast critter it is

basically tank battle are easy if you know the cheaky trick :



Anyway, its more fun to fight from within your tank only. A few times my tank is zero first but still manage to destroy their first. Only that by this time, you need to defend your tank from intruders while your crew reload the weapon. They are so slow in defending intruders.

Oh, finish the game already. Now just come back to redo the tank battles. Wish it had more than one profile so my wife can play without deleting my records. Maybe i just make a 'backup' one for her. Heh he.

yeah i know how to catch the lil bugger but it's a pain to know where he appears and when! sometimes he's on this platform which I have to exit the current screen to get to. By the time I'm there, he's gone. Reloading the game doesn't guarantee he will appear at the same spot again.
