The battle isn't in Rome Total War. This is a Greek War. Happened before Achilles's era.

As for the beard, some say its ugly some say its ok. It's the norm in that era by the way.

As for the soundtrack. One question. Does anyone know what is the track title for Trailer 2 HD at the scene where the Persian messenger rides to Sparta? (The scene where he and his escorts ride over a hill) The sentimental one. No vocals.

I got a copy (of questionable origins) of the soundtrack by Tyler Bates and scanned through it to no avail. But the soundtrack is alright. Not too bad.

the music in the trailer is "Just Like You Imagined" by Nine Inch Nails, you won't find it on the album soundtrack

Finally found the song. Thanks.

By the way, if you guys would like to try something like 300, play Titan Quest. King Leonidas appears in the first chapter of the game.

Though no massive armies. Just monsters.

Regarding the track used for the trailer.

The track is the correct one for Trailer 1.

I'm looking for the Trailer 2 one. Same spot. Where the messenger appears over the hill. (This part is in the middle of the trailer not the start)

I've just read the review in StarTwo.

Hmmph, the part that hits me as the most unintelligent is this:

Do they have to chop each other up all the time? Could they not negotiate?

I really wonder what the reviewer was watching. Persian kill those who don't fall in. Persians chopping up Greece literally. Greek wanna negotiatie but died. Anyone getting where this is headed?

Oh oh and and the part about a perfect fighting race..

Allan Koay from the Star obviously did not study Sejarah properly. Shucks I failed Sejarah in SPM but I still know at least about the Spartan Culture where they train for war all the time. It's their way of life.

And last but not least, I can't help but bring up the fact about the mentioning of George Bush. Is there not a single movie where another country fights another (future, present or past) be somehow NOT linked to George Bush and East meets West?

Sigh, what part of adaptation from the Graphic Novel by Frank Miller do they not understand?

Correct me if i'm wrong. Hell, i've not even watched the movie yet..

Hah.. Man.. some people really can't diversify and move on. I mean, they are like getting so paranoid. Seeing things in harmless movies. Urgh.. Utterly disgusting to me.

BESIDES, Greece is a mediterranean country. How in the 4 blazes can you classify them as a western country?

They failed history, now they failed geography as well.

It was inspired by the Graphic Novel and so since the novel had no armor, hehe we need to ask Frank Miller bout it.

Oh and regarding, the previous question about the 2nd trailer's soundtrack..

It's still Nine Inch Nails for the part I mentioned.

The rest of the trailer used the soundtrack's one.
