auto headlamp? once engine off, all light will auto off as well.. not sure it isnt same as what u mentioned here..

otherwise should be the smart key system.. if driver leave the car about 20secs, car will auto locked and off system.

The car is excellent with no quality issues as reported especially funny sounds on doors, seat poor, helicopter braking sounds etc. Only problem was initial days slight creaking noise at backseat which was rectified within an hour. Till now no such sound anymore. She is very happy with the car saying is miles ahead in power, handling , comfort vs her ex 4+ year old Persona

Probably you're right.  However, it's only introduced in the PREVE after October 2014 and I don't know of other car types using this HU.  So the demand for the connector for the BLAUPUNKT New York 800 may be very little if any.  Besides, he did show me the connector for the previous BOSCH HU, which he has, but it's different from the BLAUPUNKT HU.  Even the steering wheel control (SWC) connector is different and I have to use external pins to connect the SWC to my SANSUI HU.  Continental brands very troublesome.  Even the connector for the radio antenna is different from most Asian/Japanese brands.

Anyway, I could have lived with the BLAUPUNKT HU (with a good pair of speakers of course) if not for the "mp3" problem.  It will never be able to read all the "mp3" files in the MicroSD card.  I've tried to read 2 MicroSD cards with different variety of songs and both times, about 50% of the "mp3" files just won't show up.
