vincent, how to determine if its 2015 made apart from the HU?

Im in dilema right now, Currently  the mileage is around 400km, will use this car to travel to hometown this weekend,
estimated 500km+- from google maps,

So my question is, can i still maintaining the car waranty if I service the car at 1K ++ ?  or better I service the car right know before going to hometown. What oil you guys recommend for preve exec ?  Please advice  as this is my first car

I change s.a coz this s.a got ready stock. Thing is the car is parked outside. Open space and its dirty outside.

May i know the difference btween old and 2015 HU? Got picture?

My s.a simply say to check the tyres. If made 2015 means new lor. It stated march 2015

BTW is it normal for them to give stocks that exposed to the rain and hot sun?

Coz i noticed the ready stock dirty and the rear rim got rust as well as the disc brake.

they said the rim rusty is normal and the disc brake rust will be gone after some time u drive the car.

I notice got big scratches on the gear knob and also the door (interior)

they said the can change the gear knob and that plastic on the door before i receive the car

should i take this car guys?

or should i request for newer one

coz i think this is March 2015 stock. donno how long they put on open space

Hi guys , ive had a new preve cfe for more than a couple of weeks now and I have reached 1010 km on the odo due to the fact that I had to go out of town for an emergency .

The question is , is there a leeway when it comes to the first service that will not affect my 5 year maintenance ? For instance plus 50km or minus 50km ? I did not affect my maintenance yet have i ?

If you are using the newer BLAUPUNKT HU with GARMIN GPS, you can download the latest free GARMIN  map data from the MalfreeMaps forum (http://www.malfreemaps.com/index.php?sid=d19b58513b62b950e53f82fd381c2cf4).  You'll need to sign up as a member to be able to download the map data.  Do appreciate their work by giving a word of thanks thereafter.

a.  Execute the downloaded file on your PC by referring to the installation instructions on their forum website.

b.  After the successful execution, the file "gmapsupp.img" will be created in the "c:\Garmin\Malfreemaps" folder (default setting).

c.  Copy this file "gmapsupp.img" into your MicroSD card in the "Garmin" folder.

d.  Rename the 2 existing files "gmapprom.img" and gmapprom1.img" on the MicroSD card to "gmapprom.old" and "gmapprom1.old" respectively.

e.  Rename the copied file "gmapsupp.img" to "gmapprom.img".

Insert the MicroSD card into the BLAUPUNKT HU and run the GARMIN GPS.  It should be using the updated map data from Malfreemaps.  You can also reconfirm the map data version from the "Map Set" option in the GARMIN GPS software.

The above had worked for me.  Caveat Emptor.  Try at your own risk, albeit minimal because should it doesn't work, then just delete the renamed "gmapprom.img" file and revert the original 2 files with the ".old" extension back to their original ".img" extension.
