Basic Catalyst Arena is easy milestone for vet. Only have to run it 3 times to get the needed cat though - almost a month period. But I'd suggest against it because it is generally better to have teams with balanced PI spread, as opposed to having only one or few high power members. At least that is why I have not ranked my 4* pass 3/5 as it will take forever for tier 4 basic catalysts to a team.

On different note, there are a lot of things going on in Alliance. Hope to see something good ...

Just got him recently, from a PC. So the nice doctor now still at 1/5 same as Starlord that come from PC somewhere along the Ultron Quest and the Leader of Guardian of the Galaxy also still at 1/5. Both come recently while my other 2 4star had been with me for the longest time. Colussus came with Second Skin when I started when the games was launch in December and along come Gamora quite early in the game think somewhere when alliance started. These 2 4star really help me in the Quest early in the games. Rank up my Colussus to 3/5 when I got my first alpha free from Kabam and still have my 2nd alpha won during the Ultron Quest. Now waiting for the 3rd Alpha from Antman.
Most of my ISO spent on my 3 star team for questing and building a few strong team of 2 star for the Arena. I can now comfortably choose which 2* Arena to participate and win my favourite 3*. Now buiding my 3* for the 4* Arena.
Yeah, now letting Thanos rest.... need to work in the Alliance with my alliance member.....

... today we completed our first Alliance Event. Heard this is only on trial basis or learning the ropes and we are one of the selected few, second batch if I am not mistaken.

Alliance members donate units or alliance chips. The leader or officers enter a quest. 300+ units and 300+ chips to start a quest if I am not mistaken. 30 members are grouped into 3 teams of 10 each. Each member select their best champs. Note that once selected these champs are locked from other quest for 24 hours.

It was fun, but must have patience as we are given only 5 energy to start and to move from tile to tile takes one away. So you can only move 5 steps / tiles. From the quest tree, I'd say need at least 2 guys per path. There are 5 paths, including middle path. Once the path is taken, you will not use energy to take the same path. Energy is only for new unused path and you wait 30-50 min for recharge.

From the start some of us are impatient and try to take on the bosses and failed miserably. You must take on the point nodes, where it is feeding powers to the bosses. Once these are gone, the bosses are none other than high PI without additional abilities. Take your path and when you meet the bosses, stay there until your alliance deals with the feeding nodes. Once the nodes are taken care of you can take on the bosses much easier, then you proceed to the next tiles.

Not much of a strategy but must divide the 3 teams to make sure they are of equal strength. In each group, one guy will direct the other to the paths and where to take the nodes and when to wait. If one path is having trouble you can always reroute but can only do this once per quest.

As this is the first, it is way to easy. I think the last team did it in 6 hours after starting.

Great addition but between arena, story, event, daily and now alliance quests we may have too much in our hand. kabam must have wanted us to select which to play.

But I suspect some will want it all ...

... for a guy who sucks at MCoC, you seem to take great interest in the game. Glad you enjoy your new mobile game, but please let's enjoy our game without you trying to belittle it every now and then. We know you could not get ahead and give up. Just let it go will ya.

Kabam messes up AGAIN with the recent 7 day event. Gazillioin point for a watered down 4* Caps. Give us a break. Our alliance is not even attempting this event, individually most of us do get up to +3mil milestone, probably to 6mil over the days but not much more. The rank reward also is not worth it.

With my Thanos reward crystals, I got new Vison and Daredevil. That took my 4* tally to 7 with a duped Storm. 14 teams of 4*+3* or easily about +180k per arena round. Even then, I do not think 4* arena is my thing with 3.2mil cutoff - the best I could do is probably around 1.5mil without unit recharge. I am not spending my units for that 3.2mil cutoff though. Just collecting premium hero crystals through milestones and saving units for 4* offer.

Currently ranking up my 4* Rocket Raccoon - a glass cannon offense powerhouse. Mainly to be used in story quest for fast farming. Next on the line is DD. Got more than enough cat 1 alpha. Also seriously considering going for Tier 4 basic cat.

New alliance quest is coming, maybe more alliances will join the fun. Let me tell you it is fun, my advise is be patient. It is not like story quest hit-hit-hit or arena block-hit-evade thingy. You gotta time your evade & attacks, and draw the L1 or L2 specials. If you got that to pat then the alliance quest is fun.

Anybody got the Ant Man? I don't even try ...

Rocket is good... there are few glass cannon around ie Gamora and Spiderman..... another one is Electro..... Dr Strange can be said also a Glass Cannon... hehehe....

I got a 2s ant man for free, got some new thing character wise, like poison, fatigue stack, but very minimum. overall defensive character. It sounds louder than it is.

Can't take the game anymore everyday like repeating the same thing, grind n grind, for units, pc, ISO etc etc, but with very very little reward. Well not quitting yet becoz after all it is the only easy access mobile game with all marvel character to play with.

... what is your purpose of playing mobile game? Might having fun be one of them. If you are not having fun, then might as well take up on @Carago's offer.

Since you do play, I suggest you set up your target and go with it. If you hate grinding, why do it? Just play the daily quest for instance, you could get cats & gold for ranking up, and xp for levelling. Quest crystal offers 5 units sometimes. The daily crystal could give you a 3* maybe in a month or two, if at all. But do not expect much if you play that way, or do you want kabam to give you everything then only you would say what a great game this is?

I play to see how far I could go, and so far I have not hit a wall yet...

the reward rate is way far too disappointing for an ordinary person to have continuous excitement in order to keep on grinding. at least now yes.
not that im critizing, nor leaving this game or mocking, juz it is wat it is. btw, it is still the only mobile game that gona hav all the marvel characters.
lastly, play when u wana play, stop when u wana stop, speak when u wana speak. isnt it more fun this way.

I sold my account away back in the month of March for a total RM300. I have three 4 stars only in it.

Now, I'm reinstalling the game and starting from Level 1, just to get that free 2 star Ant Man. I will just play it for fun. Not gonna grind any new champions, or join alliance, or join Arena. Honestly, the rewards are too disappointing like you said. Maybe play Ant Man and 1 star Spider-Man good already.

Glad to have you back... at least now can have your support to update the front page of this thread..... And change icon once in a while...

Some of us enjoy it.. maybe others dont... but we need a Lowyat Thread for update among players and glad to have the originator back....

How does the Arena happen now? The Arena for 3 stars and 4 stars specific Marvel champions, once per week? how long is the duration?

I only know the cut off score is around 550k and above.

and I also kinda heard about this Alliance mode, how does it work? everyone in a guild grinds for points to get certain rewards?
