actually i am having 2 phones and i love to switch and use (bring along) EITHER of the phones only. i hope to apply for another sim card, with the same number (not sure can or not) so that i dont have to take out a sim card and place into another phone to use. hope u can understand ..... ??? help please?

the main point is, i wish to use only one phone at a time, while leaving both the sim card (with same number) inside the phones.

yupz... maxis has that kinda service... multi-line 1 sim...

they charge u a monthly fee of RM 15... and both lines must be maxis postpaid line.. i'm not sure.. but i think it has to be under the same owner * primary and subsidary line *
and it seems the second line can be used for voice calls and sms only... *no gprs and all*
and erms.. only certain devices can run with this simcard.. u should check it out on the maxis website... =)

mikehwy: ermz.. if you are using a supplementary line.. u can opt for sms option.. it allows you to send sms's to 012/017 for 1 cent only... other operators 5cents...

Aiya... lol I'm not 100% sure that this will work but maybe MAYBE.... if you bring your phone to maxis centre and tell them u lost ur sim card, and then asked for a replacement sim... maybe the one they give you can be used simultaneously adi...

Edit: My friend told me that there's this Sim Duplicator that's being sold in LowYat. Using taht you can copy/duplicate your current Sim card and use that as your 2nd sim... not sure about it though, you better check it out...

They used to offer this service only to elite members. Now I think you can use what joanne said, the Rm 15/month for an additional sim. Or you could get those sim card cloners that danny mentioned. It cost roughly RM 70.

But from previous experience of a friend who did the same-number-on-two phones, only one number could be active at a time. Not sure if they changed it already.

well i also break my own record for heaviest monthly usage from the time i started to use postpaid until now...
about 250 hours chat in the month wif my gf whom i see everyday...
That cost me about RM250...
Hardly imagine... she got shock after i told her...

If i got cut then I can jump to hell...
My credit limit for my maxis line is about RM2000...
If i got cut of over limit then i can jump anyway just my head point towards the ground...

lolx, 5000 sms per month...... haiz fainted. if u got gf sure can goes up to 5000 de. i one month only 900+ haiz... hate some moderator, i just bought a true tone true sms that i seen in a newspaper, and it cost RM 4 to 5 if not mistaken. after two weeks i wondered something, my prepaid amount keep on reducing and i didnt call anyone just sms a little sometimes. even i try to not call anyone even sms in two weeks time to investigate it becoz canot tahan ledi, it still keep reducing de..... what makes it keep reducing...

Try to ask the maxis as them to stop it

Consulted last time and they asked me to call the service provider to cancel or stop it. WTH ... lazy to do so.

You guys are crazy...how do you send so many SMSes in a day!
