If you have activated and a 3G icon is appeared, I guess you're ready to use the service.

Anybody is still using Maxis Web SMS? Now 014 2XXXXXX users also can enjoy this free service even though it's only 3 free SMSes per day.

With this meaning Hotlink got 4 plans ... 2 for 012 and 017 and 2 for the new prefix 0142.

Easy Plan sounds very good and it fits my current requirement. Talk and SMS plan rates are rather expensive for me.

The new plans is for 0142 prefix right?

Existing 012/017 users can switch to that two new plans?

david, wat are the two new plans?
*
Easy and Total Plans for the new prefix 0142.

Details at http://www.maxis.com.my/mmc/index.asp?fuse...id=278&status=1

QUOTE(akachester @ Oct 1 2006, 04:03 PM)
Will it be only for 014-2?Cause that will be quite unfair to existing users though..Anyway,what plan could that be?
*
Not sure if existing Hotlink users (012/017) can migrate to these two new plans.

WAAAA same pricing to all networks! i want! hmmm, but dun wanna change number! wonder if 014-2 got 3G >.<

I think the Easy Plan doesn't equip with 3G. I think it's merely for calling and conventional text messaging.

Easy Plan is good for people like me ... seldom make calls, monthly usage is less than RM30 and want for longer validity period for each reload.

It depends on how tight the competition will be ... let's wait and see how it goes from here.

By the way, guys, don't be over thrilled first as the call and SMS rates for the two new plans haven't out yet. It may seem a flat rate to call or SMS to other networks but they didn't state the tariff if I'm not mistaken.

I'm still thinking whether I should change to Total Plan. My monthly usage is less than RM30 and seldom make calls out.
