Let's say guys, for next season, Mou wanna promote 1 of our young stars into the team, and only 1 spot left. Who will u pick between Piazon and Thorgan Hazard?

Piazon,Mcechran, kakuta, will never fulfil their potential. How many years they with us and still cant breakthrough. How many youngster we released because failed to break first team? Too many..

It difficult to find another john terry because we are chelsea. We bought oscar, zouma, Thibo, hazard lukaku because our youngster not good enough. They got potential but it difficult.

Yes , jose want to promote youngster and player like ake, bamford, solanke maybe got chances but as i said, it difficult. Drogba retired next season, for sure we looking for new strikers. Not sure bamford will get that chances unless they really performing

The key is consistent performer.
So far I only see that in bamford and Thorgan.
Courtois is a good example.
solanke, baker, loftus and few other in the academy have long way to go to proof themselves worth the gamble for manager to take.
another thing having long term manager is crucial here in orders to bring in some youth players.
If not those youth have to start over again to impressed differ manager each times.

Courtois have set the bar too high dy la. laugh.gif

On loan at Atletico, won Spanish cup, La Liga and UCL finals. Means other youth have to win their club's domestic league and cup, in the same time reach UCL finals? laugh.gif laugh.gif

Though it would be great if we have another youth able to do that. laugh.gif

Haih...sad to see Piazon not living up to his hype. Last season in Vitesse, he did quite well, actually he did very well in the first half of the season. This season, not so well in Bundesliga, while Thorgan seems to be doing very well. hmm.gif

yes, if sell him pls put buyback clause.

I'd like to see him given a chance to prove himself before we sell him off. Stop creating a Bruma, KDB incident anymore. sad.gif If we really gonna sell him off, buy back clause please! cry.gif

Russia economy collapse gonna hit them pretty hard. hopefully doesn't affect the club much. i wouldn't want RA to sell the club cry.gif

who knows? i think we'll be in the market for at least 1 player. even Mourinho knows our XI is strong, but without Matic, we lose our steel in midfield and without Fabregas, we lose our offensive options.

plus I dont think we are that dependent on Roman anymore, he might INVEST (somehow other owners is INVESTING, but Roman usually people will say as pumping money..double standard much) from time to time..maybe covering a few million lost..we are getting into the area of self-sustainable now..and I'm all for it.
