My steering slanting like this (quite bad i think), when driving straight line, or it pull to the left badly when the steering at the center. So, by changing the steering housing/boot (if im not msitaken) n do wheel alignment will fix the problem ? Any other adjustment need to do ?

QUOTE(WanTheBear @ Jan 8 2015, 03:48 PM) note: just say you want to do "Steering Wheel alignment"....not just wheel alignment. Because your car may still drive straight and be aligned though your steering wheel is pointing god knows where. Could be the steering rack bush also... Noted, actually they did told me that the steering rack bush need to be change before they can proceed with the wheel alignment after i bought tyre from them. But due to time constraint, they postponed the replacement n alignment. Now, im just want to make sure there's no other possibility before i go there again. |

QUOTE(WanTheBear @ Jan 8 2015, 04:18 PM) the steering bush, make sure you get the silicon one. the wear rate for that is much much longer than the standard rubber part. How abt the price different ? It come in pair right ? I was quoted at RM110, not sure it's include labour or not, it's rubber or silicon, single or pair. |

QUOTE(WanTheBear @ Jan 8 2015, 04:26 PM) its a pair. rm110 should be the rubber plus labour. Last i changed to silicon 1 pair rm150 plus labour. the parts about RM80-110 but the labour is abit expensive cause reaching the bush can be a bicth. Oh, only RM40 different, might as well go for silicon one. Normally tyres shop got sell silicon steering rack bush ?though there are some bicthes bushes i'd love to reach too. |

QUOTE(kirokiroshin @ Jan 15 2015, 02:49 AM) Just changed mine recently, the rubber seal thing on top engine cost me RM80 for original. Labour charge im not sure bcos the total include other services, but part + labour should be RM100++. |
