Need some advice.
After the heavy downpour just now in the Klang Valley, my persona sv alarm just went crazy. I can't use my alarm to lock my car and have no choice but to use key to manually lock it.

Any 1 of you have any such experience?

my car does not auto-lock (door) as it suppose to be when pressing brake pedal (engine ON)...

Ok for the aircond cent sound, try adjust the vent (the direction of the air), at certain angle the sound will be gone.

Another source of noise is from the lower part of the audio system, when I free I will take pic to show u, I sepit a piece of paper at the gap to stop the rattling noise.

Yeah the dahsboard noise will come & go so no problem to me.

Hey, do u guys do service on 5k mileage?
The service book said 1k service then 10k service, but many blog said they service at 5k.

50 litres for manual? so auto will be different or share the same tank??

    it's habit though i guess, i used to pull my handbrake to the max  

btw, yours is persona sv also?? then i guess i shall ask for actual quotation from SC d, did u experience a lot of dirt came out from the disc rotor? it makes my rims looks dirty and ugly even just drove once  

typical problem la bro, my bro told me to self change the disc brake since my dad is selling spare parts, so nt difficult finding nice branding, but before tat, i approach to the sc before and he told me warranty for brake system will be voided

all this are the problems (mostly rattling noise) I noticed when I first get my car

i) heavy rattling sound came from the steering either driving or idling when waiting traffic light, i guess they din lock tightly enough when they first service checked the airbag i assumed (got it repair and fixed at proton sc later then)
ii) the 2nd sound is came from the defect of gearbox mounting, firstly I tot the sound is made by the left tyre, whenever I release brake and drive, the annoying sound will popped out like "gok gok gok" (got it done also after waited for the gearbox mounting for three weeks as claimed by the sc said they only left with manual gb mtg)
iii) third sound is quite minor for me as it doesn't actually happen quite often, just seldom or once in awhile when i first start my engine and reverse, sometimes it will had a loud pulling sound, like u driving with your handbrake pulled up (can't fix this yet as the mechanic said they don't even encounter any of this problem before)

well I guess temporary this are all the problems i faced with a total mileage drove for 5.6k now, bought since last year October

Hi,  did u u replaced it at proton body and paint center? I jz hit a dog on the highway, right hand front bumper partially torn off.

Should I sent it to proton or any workshop?

I have experienced the exact sound , "Wong Wong wong" it's pretty loud. I'm not sure why it's like that but it didn't affect the brake performance. But nowadays the sound is gone.

Anybody here using steering cover? I bought one but seems like it's slightly too big for my steering... Persona's steering seems a lot smaller than others.

I'm driving a Base line model and I'm having problem with the alarm system.

There is a tik tok noise whenever I tried to remotely lock the door and the radio is dead with a red light flickering when I drive.

Last night suddenly the alarm won't buzzing. So for now I just remove the battery.
Anyone can show me how to remove the alarm system so I can drive to the mechanic ?

i've service two times already at the damansara damai proton sc agent. but i dont believe them 100%. because both time specifically ive ask for the box and bottles. but none are given. though they talk really nice and all, but well im used to be grease-monkey with my motorcycles, so when i cant see my car getting serviced/change part, its really not that satisfying. no communication whatsoever with the foreman. they do job. u give money. the end.

and i know majority foreman lies/steals
