replaced my rear brake pad last year, original proton but i noticed it's mintye branded. not as soft as the initial proton-bosch brake pad came with new car which produce superb amount of dust... baked my rim like chromed after 1-2 years of usage.

Anyone changed to Evo 6 brake master pump for their Persona? Based on the photos on mudah it looks like it can fit but the strut bar will have to be removed everytime to add brake fluid and etc.

i thought pump is the black thing behind the metal + brake fluid container which is the servo?

Did you change to evo 6 brake servo? I'm afraid that it might be too strong.

How do u know the brake servo is of a better one ya? So ur persona have screeching sound when braking ?

Changed to the Sapura Pro Ride shock absorbers today.

Bad news so far: the front left is higher than the right by almost 1 finger. The car is also much lower at the front than expected, with about ~2 finger and <1 finger gap for the front left and right respectively. No proper measurement cause I didn't bother looking for a tool to measure.

Good news: The ride is still pretty damn comfortable. Cornering is... slightly better now. The set is definitely not very stiff compared to the OEM shocks and springs. I don't know what percentage to give for the improvement, but the car stays flat enough to my liking during corners for now. If my memory serves me right, it's kinda Suprima-like now in terms of cornering stiffness.

Still waiting for the day to get the Evo 6 brake servo installed. I don't really feel that excited anymore about it though cause the people at the workshop have been talking about how some tried to use Evo 6 on their cars and after installation and all, it doesn't work. "The brake cannot be pressed", or so they say.

My feelings so far: Half regretting the purchase now as going for IMP "Comfort" Absorbers + my original springs may have been a better combination. The seller and Zordaq told me to give it a few days first to see if the car eventually goes to the same height for the front. I'm hoping it does cause I'm not really interested in spending my time waiting for the shocks / springs to be replaced.

I'll take a proper measurement when I have time. 😁😁😁😁

I see. Yeah they don't really have enough people. I would suggest that you call Zaki to verify it the noise is a problem or not. I know mine didn't have any weird noise at all after the change. It was even done by a foreman that is the least experienced among them.

Between the pad and the caliper. Mine is the Bendix MKT.
