Hello all persona sifus. I'm a newbie here.. Would like to ask if going up genting road, you guys persona will autoshutdown kah? I think is overheat problem, which I heard some say it is NORMAL? really meh?  My car around one year only.. the first time it shutdown it was the 4th or 5th month since i bought it new car ma.. ever since then.. everytime i go up genting sure will shutdown one.. why isit like that? o.o told the service centre to help fix.. but still same problem.. why?? Always need let it cool down awhile then only can continue move again.. sigh.. Btw, My proton is SV

Lol, lotus handling is no joke. Together with multilink suspension, it's stable than many cars on market.

Personal advice better do at tyre shop =)
If lazy, then do at SC together.

pausible cause:

1) low tyre pressure
2) leaking power steering oil / low level power steering oil
3) steering pump kaput?
4) driver not yet eat rice / puasa

I think it should have a rear anti-roll bar. You can verify this by looking at the back of the car, where there should be a black bar there running along the multi-link frame. The default size is 14mm if I'm not mistaken. I am running on the 16mm Ultra-racing anti-roll bar now and to be honest I hardly feel any difference, and aside from that I got the metal stress noise which is presumably due to the increase in size of the bar.

As far as I can remember the car itself is actually very good already without any additions. But if you insist, I suggest going for better tyres first, else you will still not be happy no matter how many bars you add. The SV comes with a front strut bar by default right?

I'm currently using the Bendix Metal King Titanium. Braking power is satisfactory, though it could still be better. Makes noise (not high pitched) when cold, when it's warmed up it's pretty much silent.

Costs around RM110 or so.

Ya , is part of the chasis, the steel is for safety reason to avoid when "touch wood" accident the crash dint hit to the radiator.

Better use good brake pad. The original brake pad is sucks.

Slotted and hole disc rotor,
Bendix Metal King titanium brake pad
Evo 5 double layer brake servo ( Persona original servo is 1 layer, which is not enough)

Which version of Myvi?
Myvi's EPS is the shittiest EPS I've driven. Not only it is numb, It has a very noticeable delayed response to speed changes and switching to the appropriate steering weight.

Even Axia also don't have this problem.

Maybe the air-cond was engaged. The car is freaking slow to respond whenever the damn compressor is running.

When you say slow response, do you mean the car doesn't seem to respond to the throttle input regardless of how deep the pedal is pressed until a second or two later? I experienced this before, and I'm not sure why it happened. When was the last time your spark plugs were changed?
