I am pursuing my PhD in nanoelectronic materials in a public university in Singapore.

Since there are limited positions/high competitions in obtaining a faculty position, i am looking at non academic jobs. Besides research related jobs, i hope to venture more into operation/sales & marketing of high tech industries.

Do you think it is possible? Any friends/colleagues of you who do that?
Yes, it is possible. Just because you are pursuing a PhD doesn't mean you cannot find a job in sales and marketing.
