The direct approach certainly caught Vietnam by surprise..they unable to recover in the 1st half...in the 2nd half they pretty much know how to deal with it but its too late as the damage has been done.

ironically, our best game in AFF this year was when we lost to Thailand in the group stage.

Jelas sekali in the group game loss, we struggled to contain their relentless fast pace attack on the flanks and cut ins.

Jelas sekali DS tak akan lari dari 442, tapi aku harap die akan choose diamond formation kat midfield. Kita perlu sorang ''funnel' to sit in front of the defense. Orang yg boleh baca attacking lawan dan tunggu exactly where the opponent will send their final ball at the edge of the area...... especially cut-ins from the flanks...... aku rasa the right person with this intelligence is shukur adan.

Xleh ke dollah tukar 4-2-3-1 atau 4-5-1 masa away game. Thai mesti main attacking. Counter attack adalah approach terbaik first leg.

Use the same line up vs vietname away....but change one of the strikers to put gary in the hole.

maybe sometimes in the game for the sake of away goal ds should try 3 striker, since thai defender is not that strong. rugilah x try and play defensive only just hoping for break attack

or at least 2 attacking mieldfielder(alex + amri) + 1 striker
