Safee & Mahalli can sit comfortably on the bench....Perhaps finally DS has found his best 11....his tactical change last nite was spot on...no more attacking thru the flank but instead direct passes thru the middle...credit to DS for his bold tactical change & personnel..

Some teams are better when they are not having the possession of the ball...just keep pressing & hit on the counter whenever the opponent lost possession..Athletico Madrid does it very well.

I think this is the right tactic for our players....it looks scrappy indeed but effective...perhaps DS will maintain this style against Thai as their gamelay is similar with Vietnam.

Yup...If DS goes back to his normal tactic of attacking thru winger than Mahalli is a better option because of his crossing ability...but I think DS will stick to his gameplan like last nite against Thailand...press the opponent thru the middle....Alex + Kuna is a much better combo against Thailand...

The direct approach certainly caught Vietnam by surprise..they unable to recover in the 1st half...in the 2nd half they pretty much know how to deal with it but its too late as the damage has been done.

DS tactical approach during the Vietnam game certainly spot on with Vietnam playing a high line defence...but we'll never know if DS is going to replicate the same approach against Thailand...we shall wait on matchday..

Not sure whether there is a loophole in Gary's 3 month ban...basically now he is a free agent & not attached to any other teams and he can't train or play competitive football during the 3 month ban...it is unclear whether the ban is only applicable domestically?

So basically Gary need to train on his own without affiliating himself with any other teams..but everybody knows that he got JDT printed all over him...

JDT will continue to dominate..that's for sure..the way they outplayed Pahang was quite scary...but having said that - maybe it's too early to tell...last year they were touted to totally dominate the league comfortably but only managed to secure the league title at the final game of the season...
