QUOTE(Piros @ Dec 11 2014, 07:06 PM) This is the exact mentality that causes Malays to call us pendatang. You know what's the irony? You and the rest of Non-Bumi (not all) in peninsular are doing the same. If you can't stop calling Bangla & Nepali as pendatang, then you have no rights to demand that we should not be called pendatang. u are comparing 3rd generation malaysian with a 1yr work visa blue collar worker? wow u must have been indoctrined like crap. welcome to macai-hood. |

QUOTE(Hexism @ Dec 11 2014, 07:13 PM) no need get so pedantic loh, you know normally what they mean when they say pendatang is pendatang asing tanpa izin. not 'pendatang' in its quasixenophobic 'definition'. if this bangla stayed here for ages and gets a IC legally, he is a malaysian and no one would call him a pendatang.or not. i cannot speak for other people. lels |

QUOTE(Spitzer @ Dec 11 2014, 07:34 PM) If I learned one thing from all my business trips and overseas assignments; dont too harsh la bro. thats how they were brought up i guess. majority with an inferiority complex.Malaysians, typically a particular race that rhymes with the country's name, are rude, full of jealousy, trying to prove their own's worth in a wrong way(ie. it's always fight fight fight hit hit hit), unskilled, not putting any effort in anything - even on the things that interest them. You all thought China citizens(yes the country u idiots, not chinese in Malaysia, there's a difference) are rude, not polite etc etc. But compared to citizens of Malaysia - I would much rather pick to stay in China. Oh and just give up your so called "master race" thinking ok? It's dragging you down even more. Abit abit go and call people "pendatang" or other derogatory words. In the end - Myanmar and Indon that's in Malaysia are more useful then you... but i have to say, my colleagues are all nice ppl. i really like them. regular breakfast kaki's This post has been edited by deepan84: Dec 11 2014, 07:37 PM |

QUOTE(chesneychez @ Dec 11 2014, 07:42 PM) Does anyone know who are those 25 like-minded Malays ? If they support moderation but at the same time afraid to reveal the identity, then it would be pointless. So far the media only publish the name of this Noor. all the names are revealed. do some research pls. |

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Dec 11 2014, 07:51 PM) wont happen. shouldn't be much of a problem coz religion similar. so in terms of religious assimilation, it would be seamless.. the problem now in malaysia is due to the rising influence of islamic arabic culture, not malay culture.but i do feel there will be restrictions places on Non in the coming yrs. the population of cina n india will decrease until a point that they become insignificant...too insignificant to be blamed. they will be den be left alone. a new group of "pendatang" will replace the cina n india as the 2 other major ethnic groups. so dun be surprised if in 40-50 yrs time the headline will be "Apa Lagi Bangla Mau ?"
