QUOTE(MrUbikeledek @ Dec 11 2014, 06:59 PM) No, i don't think it will come to that. At least not all at once. The more likely to happen is the increase enforcement of the religious police to "discourage" Muslims from visiting such a place. I don't think so. See what has happened in Terengganu. Shops are to be closed on Friday noon. Instead of moving Muslim man, authority chooses to close the shops. |

I do not fear the evil cunts that keep on taunting 513 like ibrahim ali and rani kukup abdullah.
We all know is a sandiwara anyway. However I fear the belief or the idea that malaysia belongs to one group and of one religion and other should just bow to it. Well that will invite real hardcore extremism, not the sandiwara type, but the real one. Like what we see happens to isis symphathiser. By then it is not who let the dogs out. It is who can control the mad dog |

QUOTE(Piros @ Dec 11 2014, 07:20 PM) That's what I'm getting at, few decades down the road, a baby might be born to Nepali Parents who are now citizen of Malaysia, then what? We are still gonna call them pendatang right? What's the difference then? We are doing the same exact thing while we are asking the Malays not to do the same to us. It's a never ending vicious cycle. The point is the terminology. Racism can never be eradicated in Malaysia is we have these kind of mentality, why? Let me give you an example: 1. An Indian conquered mount Everest. Malaysians are proud, but you have some that says "why an Indian & not a Malay, if only there were more Malays then the indian wouldn't have gotten the name" 2. A Malay went to the ISS. Malaysians are proud, but you have some that says "meh, he when up there because of his skin, it should have been an Indian or a Chinese!" 3. A Chinese does great in studies, Malaysians are proud, but you have some that says "how come the Malay & Indian community cannot get good results, why always Chinese?" My motto is simple, you treat others as how you would want to be treated. Unless we embraces this, your better Malaysia is just a dream. That offsprings of naturalised Malaysians, should no longer considered to be pendatang. PS What are the chances of Nepalese getting citizenship in Malaysia now? |

The problem is that we have, among ourselves, masochists who love to be hurt and shackled by the powers that be.

People keep playing the politics of fear and superiority because it appeals to our 2 most basic instincts as human beings, fear and want. And the majority will lap it up.
It is the easiest way to score points because it doesn't require a lot of thought to react to such politics. But I agree with a previous poster, the ideological battle is best fought by the Malays and Muslims rather than Non-Muslims, because it seems too much like interference and an outside attack, which further polarizes the Malay Muslim population. Which essentially only fuels their cause. The best offence is to help nurture a society of Malays with power, skills and influence that are capable of stemming the tide and taking back our freedoms. Even the best of counter arguments are of no use if the person on the other side refuses to think. Thus it is better to work with others instead. |
