I believe this is exclusive to islanders. When SPS selling the Lepironia Graden in 2013, they promised to enable mainlanders to access via overhead bridge or tunnel. My best friend trust this promise and bought a unit there. I dont see anything now, anyway since this is just a verbal promise he couldnt sue SPS. Lesson learnt is dont trust SPS, put all in black and white. SPS is now more profit driven company than previously buyers satisfaction when Tan Sri Liew was there.

SPsetia sold the island at premium vs mainland and very unlikely the resident who willing to pay premium will welcome additional crowds on their islands side.

Agreed ... Else why Islanders paying 100 to 200k premium for the exclusivity. Aside sales agent very honest to me during purchase even at this down market. Not overselling or promise.

i stayed in Pusat Bandar Puchong which is SP Setia foundation of garden city since 1999, the water there still murky till now

Resident from each parcel should only have access to it's own parcel. From what i undetstand,  there is a 4km walkway with fencing along the lake. Each island has its own fencing inside the 4km walkway fencing. Mainlander should be given access to 4km walkway as promised earlier, but it couldnt access to any island which has its own fencing and guardhouse.
Each island has its own garden as well and premium paid is for secluded island direct facing lake.
If we take into account the land area for lake and divided equally to all island units, i guess mainlander actually pay higher psf price which i think is not fair unless the lake is also co-own by mainlander which mean mainlander can access to the 4km walkway and share the maintenance cost.

so early already got divisions among the mainlanders and islanders lioa lah? how about rich fello and his poor cousins?

if there is a dedicated guard house before islands, meaning other people not living in the islands (yes including ye mah ku cheh from the mainlands) cannot bring their furry friends even for an evening walk there.....

To correct everyone's perception, the higher premium paid for islanders is not exactly exclusively for access....they were for the premium water facing/backing ambience, lower density and the construction of body of water (like dig up canal and fill up with water)...

that is not meant to divide classes of homes...or see it as rich vs poor, bcos islands too got link terraces.

Even for SEP, the two biggest "lakes/river" are not within the most expensive precincts......and their most expensive precincts got only tiny lakes.....perhaps more intimate feel qua.....haha

Islands Club house almost ready. Notice there is a small pier. looks like its temporary, perhaps a permanent pier will be built for kayaking ? There is a temporary fencing around Western and Eastern heritage because construction still on-going, for safety reason i guess.

developers always targeting own stayers for their projects but its the flippers and investors that usually smell the blood first when property 1st launch.
Ownstayers usually think too much and over-analysed before making the first move.....

when a project didn't get the attention of flippers and investors....in my books its a doomed project..................

But if those flippers don't have holding power, price will drop. Many flippers only think about the upside, once ready can sell easily and make handsome profit.

An unplanned buy actually for me in this township. At first wanted to visit my brother in LiuLi Garden, then I saw a free boat ride banner. So oklah just straight go to Sales Gallery at least can bring my kids to enjoy the ride. Then SA came to me and explained about this newly launch unit. And wife really like this place so I just straight place a booking. But since its about a month after the launch so left not much choice for me . Got myself Langdale Intermediate unit. Really like the premium unit but heard everyunit there been Tapaued within the 1st week launching.

At my brother place in LiuLI, I can see all small kids running around in the middle of the road like nobody's business. And parents not to worry much about the security since its well G&G. This is why we really like this are in the 1st place. So I just hope the best in the next 3 years
