I can only reach 2.76GHz . Any guide ???

I need help here. Just trying to oc my x2 4600+ to 3.0GHz

I can only reach 2.76GHz . Any guide ???



can't manage 12 x 235 * Hang at bios
11.5x235 ok
11.5x240 * Hang at bios

Is it PCI-E causing the problem????

All ready try to set the ram to ddr400 + adding 1.45v to cpu core
still hang at bios.

Maybe the Asus M2A-VM not meant to oc.

No Option in BIOS to adjust multiplier for HTT . It just have basic Bios configuration.
And I think ram is the problem. Cannot adjust the voltage for ram manually. Hang

Info of my ram
1. Kingston 1GHZ 800Mhz DDR2 Value ram
2. Kingston 1GHZ 667Mhz DDR2 Value ram (Reconized in cpuz as Hyundai)
3. Apacer 512MB 667Mhz DDR2 Value ram

is it all value ram is single channel? I've lack of info about ram .

I just only buy the 1Ghz Kingston 800Mhz last week. Cant afford to by a new one.

I''ll try to paired the 2 kingston and leave behind the 512MB Apacer.

Already take out The 512mb ram . Paired the 1GHz Kingston 667 + 1GHz Kingston 800

here the Cpuz



not stable la . The Earlier setting is more stable than this dual channel . Just lower ther mutliplier to 2.7Ghz.

Already try that but it doesn't work out. My pc doesn't boot up. Have to clear the cmos bios. Also try several time

OC my x2 4600+ to 2.8GHz now.
Need info to 3.0GHz. Push to the limit with my low value ram.
