We did a single booking (2 pax) but had to split the PNR. 2 weeks before flying I did a pretend c/in to see our auto seat assignment - Separate, not surprised. Both seats are next to occupied seats so no chance of paying for 1 to move to sit next to the other.
Firstly, these auto assigned seats won’t be changed anymore, right? (They are not too bad, at least not the middle). Secondly, are you saying if we go together to check in at the counter and ask them nicely they may re-allocate us to sit together, if there are availability? FOC? We are flying in 2 days time.
