care to share with us the description of your car, and other features? Or are the 3 pics just it?

I did some long description when submitting to proton but it's few months ago already.

Basically is that I wanted it to have a 1.6 Turbo engine + a small power electric motor, kinda the hybrid way. I didn't go full EV or even hydrogen energy because let's be a little more realistic, can Proton really produce such high tech products? people started producing turbo engines few decades ago and our dear Proton just started making the CFE Campro that's still very lacking compared to korean/ japanese, let's not say Mercedes/ BMW/ VW. And the car should be a C segment hatchback that competes with Golf/ Fiesta those kind of cars.

TS about design. Good design for today, but not for 2020. The theme is Proton city car of the year 2020.

The body itself has the lines of a Scirocco.

Rear lights just look like Cerato.

Rear bumper from Inspira.

Need more creativity.

Btw, the E-Luma if really can make in future should go to Lotus. Give Proton will be such a waste.

I saw the contest entry must have proposed powertrain. I wonder somebody dare to propose a Rotary-Hybrid with a 2 speeder gearbox

Fixed RPM Wankel engine as a electric generator powering 2 rear electric motors, battery weight spread 70% rear 30% front. Can achieve 50/50 weight distribution.

Just a dream though.

Well.. I can't deny that mine doesn't look super original, how possible is it to come out with a totally original design these days?

lets see some products from big companies.

everyone wants to be original, but how many of us can actually do so?

More like Suprima with Honta Insight grille. If design like that also can win 1st prize, then I came up with my original design sure win already. These participants either don't know much about cars or just poor sketchers who took design from existing car and came up with their rubbish drawing.

again refer to my upper reply.

My concern is, when you can't even get a round wheel or a proper proportion, how usable is your sketch?

yes I am butthurt because of I don't understand how the judge the entries at all. if I didn't enter the competition I would be like most people who just take a look at the entry then laugh then move on.

But most of us always hate proton for creating cars that doesn't suit our liking, so why not give it a go when you have the chance?

While Proton give awards to poorly designed cars, Perodua goes straight to prototype

emm though some of the scratching is not well proportioned, some strong and unique concept are found among the winners.
the idea of concept car is more toward "how" and "why" on the concept, and it may not be realistic.

TS's scratch is nice indeed, but it is only part of the judging criteria.

Bro, if one company does not recognize your work doesn't mean there is something wrong with the company or you.

Personally I think you have the talent and I encourage you to explore it further. But you have to keep your sense of self entitlement in check, because this is not the last time your work will be rejected, regardless of you think the rejection is justified or not.

airing your grievances in public just makes you look like a sore loser. Let it go and move on.
