The reason I collect SACD is because they have multichannel. However, in the late 2011 I spoke to a remastered engineer and he told me they are mostly up-sample-ed from 2-channel master.
I have leaned through him that most SACD from Telarc are mastered from multi-channel masters.

I have downloaded some High Def audio and luckily I have NA8005 that support the 5.6Mhz.

To my ears, it seems SACD is more natural than audiophile mastered CD.
Kind of disappointed to hear the truth that most contents are up sampled from previous recordings. But I actually has the same expectation... 

Btw, how did you play multi-channel SACD? Via AVR? Got AVR that give audiophile quality performance?

so far 8005 pair with wharfy memang awesome 

its depends,but i lovin it especially pairing with diamond 9.2 

for me its perfect match,always impress me from low to high volume and whatever genre throw to it
