I'm using Marantz 6011 to drive my 5.1.2 system with Klipsch Front. Does adding an external Power Amp(looking at the Emotiva XPA) improves the overall output/performace? I play movies at medium high volume

I'm using RP-250C as Center, RP-160M as L&R. I'm not sure how to determine dBs. But I usually watch movie at volume% 60-65. Done calibration with Audussey XQ32

I'm using it for movies, excellent pair of bookshelf for movies. It's auto set as full range by Marantz coz of it's large 6.5" driver I supposed. However I doesn't really like how it sounds for music, indeed a bit on the bright and dynamic side. I mostly listen to Jazzy and soft Pop. I'm using a pair of KEF LS50 for music only, its more comfortable to the ears.

Marantz can choose if in % of db for newer version.

Personally I prefer % 

db is common use for enthusiast,its easier to compare with others.example my average vol is -10bd for movie watching 

wah..quite soft,mine before room treatment and dual sub avg -18db now down to -11/10db

Good point... I wonder if I can see the sampling rate from NA8005. Anyone? I know some DAC will show it...

AVR can show, but dunno correct or not...

Like DTS HA MA stream, my 5010 show 48kHz sampling rate only...

So what displayed in AVR is correct? In that case I can use AVR to detect the media player digital out sampling rate. 

Which model you know? NA series or SR series?
