http://deskthority.net/wiki/Topre_switch
In essence, the Topre switch feels first like a refined rubber dome and second in some ways reminiscent of some mechanical-contact switches such as the Cherry MX Red and Alps SKCM Cream Damped.
The switch action is very smooth, with a tactile bump that you can feel near the top of the stroke. After the bump, the resistance is almost flat, making it difficult to avoid bottoming out. You can not feel the mid-stroke actuation point. It bottoms out distinctly with a "thock" sound.
Some Topre keys are very light, which can lead to unintended key activations; this happens especially on keyboards that have differently weighted switches for different fingers.
In short, it's like Linear(like MX Red which is linear too) with slight Tactile near end of each finishing press.

One thing you guys should take notice over here is what you guys always said FEELING.
Feeling is vary among everyone.
But as long as it's logical, it's considered OK.
It's OK to tell Cherry MX Brown is Cherry MX Blue minus the clicky. In technical term, it might not be really accurate to put up this statement. But, in real-life testing, it's more or less that way... Tactile.
Unless, you tell like Cherry MX Blue is the same feel as Cherry MX Red, then, it's WRONG. Because one is full linear and another is obvious tactile. It's like driving a LORRY vs Luxury Car.
why u no trust me in the first place? even the deskthority article you quoted also stated that it has a tactile bump (highlighted in red). and you further add on that MX red is full linear whereas the article you quoted stated that topre is tactile, so comparing the tactile topre vs the full linear mx red IS like comparing driving a lorry vs luxury car. Feeling is vary among everyone.

Just got 1 to 1 replacement for my CM Rapid I mech keyboard for the dead LED. Fuss free. I also got some beautiful Ducky WASD red key caps

which shop did you get it from? that's quick for any retail shop to give a hassle free one-to-one replacements. few months ago when the k70 was plague with dead LED issues, most buyers need at least 2weeks of "inspection" to get a replacement.
