Hi! I was recently given a pair of AKG K141 Studio h/phones (Gold & Black) and they still sound great after 7 years. However, I need to replace the ear pads. po any of you know where can I purchase K 141 ear pads. And will the newer K141 Mkll earpads fit?

i just got an AKG k702 anyone know how to mod it so that i can get more bass without sacrificing the tremble? was thinking of getting the AKG k702 65th aniversary pads to start see if it makes any difference

In audiophile world, the increment do get smaller as you go higher up the price range

Doubling the price does not equals to double the performance

Yup , I know, i've already know the higher stage u climb up the ladder , the price needed for increase perfomance also higher.

Wanted to know how's K712 perfomance compare with K701 ... see some comment , they mention k712 easier to drive compare to k701 , but a perfectly drive k701 sounds better than perfectly drive k712 ...

the unit is barely 24 hours into the burn-in process, can't really comment, will do a comparison next week when it has crossed the 300 hours mark as the Q701 is already around 500 hours

not sure how many of you here do visit Singapore, do have some of the major flagships AKG Q701, K712Pro, K612Pro, Beyerdynamic DT880, DT990, Shure SRH1440, SRH1840 available for comparison

after reading all the reviews, i finally ordered q701 from amazon for approx rm1100. i prefer this over hd650 because q701 has this huge soundstage and the bass is not overwhelming. it is definitely better for gaming compared to hd650. the bass is more than enough for watching movie and listening to music. when i need more bass, i just use the bass boost on fiio e12.

i am currently running asus xonar u3 -> fiio e12 -> q701. so i have a question, should i get audioquest dragonfly to replace the u3? i play cs:go all the time so dolby surround sound helps me alot.

I'm also in the plans for q701, price around 800 by my count, no agent from garage sales section, dhl 4 days arrival

weird.. still testing.. the vocal like echoes sound..

its looks like the plug of cable problem.

my speaker plug also suffer this problem if the plug put in completely. But if adjust nicely, by turning it, take it out a bit, etc... it solved my problem

tested on few sources and compare with other headphone.. this K240 is something wrong..
