I'm the poorest here. Just have the humble k81dj bought in singapore. I will never ever buy from asia sound cuz they really mark up to unreasonable prices.

you guys are making me to avoid the 701 now.
1. all this while i thought that the 701 cost only rm 1200 at asia sound which is still within my budget. if like this then 325i loh it seem. 2. my headamp is only the little dot micro, which is not even here yet... hehehee! and akg is famous for its hard to drive driver... little dot 3 also not nice loh imagine the micro... another reason to 325i. someone mentioned getting it in singapore. where in singapore? that bugis area...sim lim square? |

In Singapore:
Jaben Network in Adelphi, opposite Funan, look for uncle Wilson. Stereo Electronics, Causeway Point, look for Aron. Can audit at both places, very friendly and good service, knowledgable staff, good prices comparable with US prices. |

Categg,
it seem like you know which camera i bought... hehee! well, need it for my work (i am currently photographing for a book to be published next year) sonyman, KL to Singapore is not really far. unless you are from Penang... then it's seriously far. i used to take a night train where i can sleep 10.30pm, reaching there at 7am... after immigration and stuffs, stepped into singapore at 8am, just nice for 2 half boiled eggs and teh O'. then take the 10.15pm night train back to KL on that same day. crazy? that's what my friends said everytime i do this trip. buy the returns ticket at KL Sentral and it cost me less than RM 100 only. |

QUOTE(ifer @ Sep 21 2006, 05:37 AM) ahahaa! I really love the used market...especially if you can find something in superb condition for 70% of the new retail price dont compare me and you alamaklor. besides, i have just purchased a DSLR camera... for work purposes... and i realised that after managing to get some used equipment instead of new, i have some extra of RM 800... so, lack of RM 500 only... yay! If you are contemplating selling ur sr60 before/after you got ur 701....suggest you dont do it |

QUOTE(Categg @ Sep 22 2006, 12:52 AM) OT here: OT here again:Good luck in getting your photos done thanks Categg... i managed to find a used lens and therefore, i have a couple of hundreds extra. still not enough for the headphones though. plus, i might not want to burn it on a new headphones... might use it for another used lens. ahahaa! coz the thing is i am thinking that there is no point for me to get a really good headphones as i am using my ipod (line out) and a headamp only... SR-60 is good enough for me. but then again, that was what i said when i had my phillip 890. until i tried the sr-60. |

QUOTE(ifer @ Sep 22 2006, 09:34 AM) OT here again: Haha.. when you try a properly burned in pair of 701 i believe you'll be thinking very differently... coz the thing is i am thinking that there is no point for me to get a really good headphones as i am using my ipod (line out) and a headamp only... Had the honour to worship a pair of 701 for about a month some time back and it was very, very poison.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
