
Geek Pulse has been in the crowd funding stage since end of 2013.
Initially started by LH Labs - a sub company of Light Harmonics who created the $30,000 Da Vinci DAC

they have decided to bring their DAC technology to a more affordable solution to the consumers. Going through crowd funding websites, e.g. Kickstarter & Indiegogo, they introduced USB DAC - Geek Out, Desktop/Home-fi DAC - Geek Pulse and Portable DAP - Geek Wave
Current ongoing campaign is going to end by end of this month before reverting back to their MRSP. Initial backing gets up to 60% off the expected retail price.

Some of their technology from their $30,000 has been trickled down to the Geek devices, and the Geek Pulse has 3 models:
1) Entry level - Geek Pulse ($399 - MRSP $999)
2) Upgraded dual DAC - Geek Pulse X ($777 - MRSP $1799)
3) Upgraded dual DAC /w Femto Clock and components - Geek Pulse Xfi ($1399 - MRSP $3199)

Other Geek devices to complement the DAC -
1) Geek LPS - Linear Power Supply. (Deliver clean DC power to Geek Pulse from the AC power taken from the wall.)
2) Geek Power Amps (To power full sized speakers)
3) Geek Soul (Combination of LPS + Pulse with upgraded components into 1 chassis unit.)
4) Geek Tube Buffer (For tube loving people)
5) Lightspeed 1G/2G USB cables (Higher bandwidth / isolating power and data cable for less noise)
