Malaysians used to be preferred in Singapore, but nowadays employers treat us Malaysians no different than other FTs. The Chinese, Philippinoes, Indians all willing to work more for less pay and we are competing with these people.

On the upcoming mass interview that being done by a Singapore company, it tell us(that still working in Malaysia) another story, the pay are being low balled and being forced to take lower positions.

I was planning to get an internet dongle + a wifi router instead, but not sure whether do any ISP provide such service?

Starting new job in Oct. Found a place to rent in JB temporary at Bukit Indah area. Try commuting via 'carpool' for a few months then see how. If cannot tahan the commute then rent a room in SG.
