2nd lower is the minimum qualifications that EY will accept so i'm sure the other Big4s will be more or less the same. I strongly suggest you try and apply first. If you need any help just let me know.

The interview process is different for each company. Some companies will request you to write an essay (ie. how do you plan to contribute to the organisation in your first year?) while some may not. Sometimes the first interview is not a very technical or academic interview because the interviewer is from HR. Therefore they are looking at your attitude as well as how well you present and articulate yourself. More often than not, HR interviewers will ask very general questions such as "What's your biggest non-academic achievement?" or "Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?" or "Tell me a non-academic scenario where you were in a leadership role".

The best way to prepare for interviews is to search the internet to understand the common questions asked by interviewers. Prepare the answers for these questions in your head and constantly practice answering these questions with a friend or in front of the mirror. These will help you answer more smoothly and makes you look more sure of your answers. Of course you would have to learn more about the organisation as well as the positiion that you are applying for.

If i'm not wrong there isn't a test or assessment if you're going for audit. But if you are going for BRS (Internal Audit) then there is an essay to be written.



This is quite a baseless comment. EY will only offer you a permanent position if you have completed your ACCA or if you already hold a degree.



EY Damansara is the Head Office housing the audit, tax and risk management departments. EY Jln. Sultan Ismail houses the Corporate Finance and restructuring departments.

Business Advisory Services (BAS) does more advisory work such as PMO, Business Risk Services (BRS) is more on risk management, so they cover more on internal audit work for clients.

IF i'm not wrong, please don't quote me.... but I think Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) is centralised in KL. Other states only has audit functions.

If I'm not wrong some of the local Big 4s have an online recruitment form for you to fill up. Either that or get someone from the forums to pass in your resume for you. I've done it before for a few forum-ers.

Usually a month or so.... RM 1.5k is definitely under paid for fresh grad in Big4. Not too sure about smaller firms though.

REALLYYYYYYYYYYY?!?! I find that EXTREMELY surprising considering that there's an open air car park there that most EY staff use. Maximum RM 7 per day. Other modes of transport = bus, but don't ask me what number.

SJGT is not unpopular. Its just not in the Big 4. As you can see the title of the thread its "Big 4 recruitment drive". SJGT is a medium sized audit firm and thus does not fall under the category of Big 4.

People are talking about BDO here because BDO is the biggest of the next "Big 4" after EY, KPMG, PwC and DKC. There are some people who also feel that BDO is starting to move ahead of DKC. But that's up to your own perception. Do remember that BDO underwent a MAJOR recruitment drive getting partners and directors from KPMG as well as the partners and directors pulling their staff along.

Some some some......... got some people who PM me to put in resume for them say wan.... to me Big4 still remains.. BDO prolly stronger in Corporate Finance side since so many ppl went over from KPMG. You memang pun DKC supporter.

As long as you reach before 930, parking in the open space is not a problem. Coming back after lunch, it is highly recommended to come back before 130/2 PM.

EY MM houses audit, tax, risk advisory services and other core business services (ie. HR, MIS etc.). EY KA houses transaction advisory services. I'm sure if you took the time to read or search the thread you would have found these information.
