course to learn how to repair harddisk? You must be joking...
There are several tools out there can be used to fix hard drive such as atola, pc3000, salvation data and many more..
And the course is not cheap..sorry to say..many DR engineer in malaysia using software and not special tools to fix faulty drive. That's why..
And for those looking to fix <100 GB drive... the cost will be similar as you buy a new one.. example : if got pcb burnt, need to change the same/identical one..

bro.. may I know detail about HDD repair and HDD recovery...
HDD repair RM30... is my HDD will fully erase without data? or the data and partition still there....
HDD recovery mean recover the data inside ...HDD may die or recovered... if my HDD die..where you save the data... do I need to sent working HDD to you..
sorry if bad question... I got 30GB Maxtor need to recover..

How long do you take to repair hard drive? My seagate 320GB 7200.10 SATA can sometimes boot window sometimes not. Sometimes the RAID BIOS cant see it, so I have disconnected and took it out from casing for RMA but if you can check and repair would be great.

think the ic board is burned.at least that's what the guy at a comp shop around my area told me...
think it can be repaired?

how how how? my 40gb toshiba have a double connector. when i connect it to the computer it recognizes it as in i can see the bubble popping out and and hear the sound of it connecting. and then it connects. but i cannot find it in my computer. i went to several computer shop and they say that it is internal problem and they cannot do anything about it. can somebody help me out here?

i got one WD5000YS
Window XP most of the time can detect the harddisk, but it take super long time to open the My Computer, and i confirm that BIOS can detect the harddisk.
can it be repair?
