Liverpool has possession, and controlling the tempo.
So I say lets use Liverpool tactics against them. We beat them on the counter.

QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Dec 22 2014, 12:49 AM) How to play well with our typical play if Liverpool keeping possession?Plus they've got speedy players upfront. So just play a different game and keep the defenses tight, and let the Liverpool players hog the forward. If we can catch them on the counter, I have 100% faith Giroud, Welbeck or Sanchez can give us the goal. The big challenge is that Arsenal isn't used to playing defensively, but this is where experience comes to play. |

Fuhh, scary shit, but unbelievably our defenders and goalkeepers keep pushing lady luck on our side!
More unbelievable is that Flamini assists our first goal and was a pivot in deflecting two of Liverpool's on shot attempts! |

Have you seen Arsenal park the bus before?
Well we're seeing that today. Good plan though....just waiting for the counter. |

Liverpool was clearly the better team today, especially in the first half.
It was an odd sight watching Arsenal with less posession, but it certainly makes for an interesting strategy from Wenger. Rarely, almost never I've seen we played with 10 players defending in the box. Obviously, we're not a bus expert and that second equalizer proves it. Overall, I think the score reflects both team at the moment. We're really fighting it out for fourth place. Something good to take from this is that we don't have anyone injured anymore and that's a big relief. Merry Xmas Gunners! |

Bar Flamini's first yellow card, I think he did a good job of intercepting crucial strike from Liverpool. Had Wenger substituted him on second half, we probably would've lost the game earlier on. Personally for me, Debuchy and Flamini were the better players in the match. Oh, almost forgot about Alexis Sanchez. He totally ran up and down the pitch doing his usually crazy marathon. Super human stamina.
Coutinho is blazing fast with his runs, almost as unpredictable as Eden Hazard. Doesn't help that the Anfield fans were loud. With that kind of amazing atmosphere, its like +5 agility to their players all around. |

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Dec 27 2014, 03:31 AM) What Giroud did was wrong but Onouha was blatantly pushing him from the back with malicious intent. He was somewhat hoping Giroud to crash and burn onto the onrushing Green and sustain serious injury. Agreeing with this.Just because footballer makes more than you and me doesn't mean they aren't human; doesn't have any feelings. So Giroud reaction to me was understandable. If that was me I would've done worse to Onouha. You guys sometime are unreasonable. Kept thinking as if football player is a programmed machine. I'm not defending Giroud's action, but I totally understand why he was frustrated with that push. Not only he was manhandled in the box, Onouha didn't even get any booking for it. His reaction wasn't even physical unless you consider a face-off as one, but Onouha totally took that chance to give Arsenal our first red card with his theatrical drop like a sack of potatoes. The referree have no choice but to give Giroud the marching order. And this has nothing about being professional. Arsenal were playing our game the whole night and QPR has no answer to that but to play physical. Remind me a lot of Joey Barton constant harrassment playing against us last time till Diaby got sick of it...BAM!! Insta-red-card. |
