1--disconnect the tweeter
2---adjust the dial for mid lo-pass / tweets hi-pass filter
3---play test tones (e.g 1.5khz/2khz/2.5/3.......)
4---listen to teh midrange if can hear the tone or not

branded xover usually accurate so no need to test--------
