Recently know a friend who taught me some info on ICE.
He does recommend to go for High-Mid-Sub setup than Front-Mid-Sub setup.
From my understanding (on what he explained to me), high-mid-sub (would be usually for the 4-channels amp to power up the midbass + tweeters (take out the crossover) and subwoofer either powered by another 2-channels amp or utilising active subwoofer.
Front-mid-sub would be 4-channels amp to drive a component speaker set and another 2 channels for the subwoofer.
Which setup is more likely to be recommended for SQ setup?
As I see, most ICE shop does recommend front-mid-sub setup. Is it because of the cost or it does sound better than high-mid-sub?
* Assuming the component speaker set is 2-way.
